This is a wonderful vetinary practice and I cannot recommend highly enough…read more Not only have they been consistently good with my pet rats (which a lot of vets do not particularly enjoy treating as they have a lack of experience with them) but they were always exceptionally good with my last cat. She was a rescue cat who had a lot of health problems and they treated her beautifully. At the end of her life she developed kidney failure and we were given the option of euthanising her. I asked if there was any chance of keeping her alive for longer and the vet told me that they could keep her going a few more days but that if it were her own cat, she would put to sleep as the pain and discomfort was so intense that my cat would have no quality of life left. Bearing in mind that the practice could easily have made another £500 for keeping my cat alive for an extra few days, I was incredibly pleased that they chose not to go down this route but instead made the whole process so easy and calming - we really couldn't have asked for a better experience, considering the circumstances. Wonderful vets, wonderful reception staff and a lovely calm, clean environment. Defintiely recommended to all!

So far I have found them to offer a great service which compared to others seems reasonably priced. They open late of a few days a week which is great if you work 9-5. It's difficult to get appointments at the weekend though as they reserve it for emergencies, which if you're working all week isn't very helpful. Getting there can also sometimes be an issue. Its located at the entrance of the industrial estate so appointments around 9am and 5pm are a NIGHTMARE I suggest avoiding these time slots at all costs!

There was a time when the staff where all to happy to help & friendly but now seem to not care about customer service, the only word i could use to describe them is moody. One particular member of staff puts me off going to the store because of his manner, tone and the bull s*** that comes out of his mouth. that member of staff is Ph** (i wont disclose his name fully). I have also noted on occasion when a customer would ask for advice and when the customer has left the member of staff (the store manager in fact) has (for lack of a better word) slagged off said customer which is a very poor way to run a business Also the price on general supplies (although getting better) is still far behind its competitors. The reptiles and other species of animals that they sell/display are always well looked after and there is no fault there. Overall experience: The Reptile Room is a great place to visit and check out all of the great animals that they sell, but if your buying lower end (cheap) reptiles don't expect full customer service. p.s This review comes from a long time fan of The Reptile Room and as such if they read it, should consider it at length to not lose custom
