To me, the Wellington Hospital is like the Rolls Royce or the Four Seasons among the London…read morehospitals.... My first encounter with the Wellington, was when I had an appointment with a specialist at the "Platinum Building" and the experience was really mind-blowing: for my "check-in" they sat me down and walked me through the administration process. Indeed, the quality of service I received from this one lady lived up to every Four Seasons standard - and having been trained by the former company, I know what I'm talking about! In any case, I can really recommend the Wellington Hospital. In the past 6 months, I've been here for two different ailments: pain in my wrist (for which I saw specialist Elliot Sorene) and pain in my knee (for which I consulted with Howard Ware). And while the former condition was treated with some physiotherapy, I had to undergo surgery to alleviate the latter condition. I can recommend both specialists as they treated my conditions successfully. What I really treasured most about the Wellington Hospital is the efficiency and the perfect service that you receive. There's no idle waiting and you always know what to do next, as the next staff is already following up on the previous step. It's amazing, how flawlessly they work together - like a well-orchestrated bee nest! I have to say, that I am insured privately. And while the Wellington also treats NHS patients, I cannot comment on whether or not, they receive the same quality treatment.

I went to Wellington Acute pain clinic late at night. I was seen as last patient and had tests for…read morethe pain I was experiencing which was not, in the end, the problem. I was told by the Doctor treating me that I could have had a heart attack ( i never) and they wanted to keep me in. Because it was late at night I could not contact BUPA and no Authorisation code i would have to pay a deposit of - wait for it £8,000! It was as if I was being held to ransom especially when the Doctor said it's my life. Needless to say, i signed the form to leave and went to NHS A/E early morning and was correctly diagnosed and treated. Not impressed with the process in the Clinic and depressing thing is I have an operation lined up in the new year at same Hospital.

The Wellington Hospital - Feels like I've checked into a luxury hotel. A porter showed me to my private room. Another man has taken my lunch order.
