Bad Business. The worst customer service I've seen. Took some old plate ware and never paid for it

They are a local chain with multiple locations throughout Texas, founded nearly 50 years ago and still run by the same family. This location in the Greater Heights area is one of 4 in Houston. Whether it's a fridge on wheels, disposable plasticware, or a nacho cheese dispenser they really have it all. They have commercial grade fryers, heat lamps, all kinds of specialty cutlery, kitchen apparel (#1), sanitation supplies, massive food scales, and so many interesting things that aren't available in most stores. I have only come away from here for utensils and table coverings, but I could envision so much more. Everything can be ordered online through their website for delivery and pickup. Shipping is surprisingly free and the customer service is on point for both the staff in store and the folks handling the online orders. I think the prices are another selling point as what's advertised online is what will be sold in the store. Whether I need a BBQ grill and metal stools for my next patio event or buffet trays for a special occasion, I know what to expect in the future for this stellar local service. __________ (#1) Chef's hats? Wow. What a selection!…read more Despite Ace Mart not having what I was looking for (a large olive oil container without a measured spout), I was still very impressed with their selection. If you're looking for true, long-lasting cookware or bakeware, here it is. Large cookie sheets, spring form pans, mixing bowls (mostly the stainless steel variety), woks of all different sizes, bread and cake pans, professional-sized cutting boards -- you name it, they've got it. A huge selection of kitchen tools and bar accessories, too. Dishes, serving platters and baskets, storage items, silverware (both stainless and plastic). Yikes! If I were just starting out and stocking my kitchen, I would have a true shopping spree here. Cleaning supplies, too! Ovens, stoves, mini-fridges, appliances. If it's used in and around the kitchen or the grill, Ace Mart has it (other than my olive oil container, unfortunately). So impressed! Large parking area, friendly employees, easy in-an-out to I45 or Cypresswood Drive. Worth the trip if you're looking for anything for your home or business. Also, this is not a mandatory bulk-purchase store, either. Buy as little or as many of an item as you want, but I did see that on some items, if you purchased multiples, discounts were available.

Ace Mart Restaurant Supply has you covered with a huge selection of most used items and specialty hard to find items at decent prices. Recommend you sign up for their e-mail flyer if you do not frequently shop at the store because they have flash sales on certain items. I was able to get two CAMBROS food boxes and save $149. It pays to shop local.

Great selection of cute gifts for brides , religious themed items and gifts for men who may already have everything. A few sale items . Expect to pay full price but definitely worth a browse. The moment we walked in, the staff began following us around like we were about to steal something... It wasn't subtle, and it definitely wasn't welcoming. We came specifically to shop for Jellycats. While my daughter was picking one out, my 2 year old accidentally knocked over a $15 trinket that was placed right next to the toys. It broke. I immediately apologized and offered to pay for the accident, but the old woman maybe manager/owner just turned her back and walked off without saying a word. No professionalism, no acknowledgment. Still, we made a purchase, about $50 for Jellycat and a small toy. The store tries hard to give off an upscale, curated vibe, but the service is pure snooty attitude and fake class. We're in town from Rockwall, Texas the smallest and wealthiest county in the state, about 20 minutes from Dallas, fortunately we don't need to steal outdated trinkets. The fake-classy attitude here is laughable. snooty staff, zero warmth, and absolutely no sense of how to treat customers. If you're expecting grace, charm, or even basic decency, keep looking.
