I mean like a 45 minute wait. We don't mind because it's my son's favorite place and he gets a bad-ass cut every time. [I also go next door to Coffee Vanilla and grab a latte, there's also a Starbucks in the Safeway across the street.] Hint: Make appointments for days before long week-ends, holidays, Valentines..you get the drill. Also, I have found you can usually walk right in early mornings mid-week. For the longest time they only took cash. They now can take debit and e-transfer (I think). I've also seen a couple of women getting Fades done, impressive. As for who's the best barber-they're all very good. I was looking for a new place to get a cut so I called and booked an appointment for 12pm. I get…read morethere and two guys are getting hair cuts and one guy walks in just before me. As I enter one of the employees tells me and the other walk in to have a seat. I let him know I had an appointment and he said the barber will be right with me. The third barber walks in and starts setting up his station, meanwhile the other customer that walked in started getting his haircut as one of the other barbers finished. I waited about 15 minutes before I finally ask why I'm still waiting. Finally they realize the 3rd barber doesn't even have me booked in his calendar and the first two barbers didn't even confirm anything with him until I brought it up. I realized that the guy that was cutting the hair of the walk in was the one that took my name the day before. So finally they ask me to wait while the 3rd barber finishes up and he will be right with me - instead of just having the guy who was doing nothing except looking at his new products to cut it. The place was messy and you could see hair on the counters and floors. Clearly they don't sweep often but I figured "whatever" since I heard good things previous to this. Long story short I sit down and the 3rd guy was super nice and did a good job BUT they were watching soccer on the tv and anytime someone would come close to shooting the ball he would stop and look at the screen for 20-30 seconds then continue cutting my hair. I never went back and would not go back but the 2 stars I gave were for the guy who cut my hair since he did a good job. But I gotta say I was less than impressed with their "don't give a shit" attitude and customer service. Also, sweeping the floors and counters and keeping things clean would be a good addition to their business plan. I did not and will not go back. I will mention this was a while ago and I'm writing the review now so hopefully things have changed. I literally downloaded yelp just so I can write this review.
