One skinny geezer ran around stopping at tables and staring at people. Then proceeded to the next table. I don't know why the bar tolerated that. We then read that a DJ would play indie rock in the club inside, for which we paid 6 euros. What we eventually got was dance music. The doorman was practising roundspin kicks - a complete no-go to me. The barstaff on the inside first seemed undermanned, but then we noticed that they were just crap. Even when there were almost no people lining up waiting times of 20 mins seemed normal. Bottom line: don't go there.

Of course I have been told "yes, everything is working 100%." "Luckily" two hours before my playtime, my fellow dj-colleague called me and told me that they just started to play and noticed that one turntable didn't operate properly. Turns out the guy that thinks he is the sound engineer for this sh*hole didn't even check the equipment, which is the least thing to be expected for a venue. So I recommend going to other clubs like Werk, Venster, Dual, Grelle Forelle or basically any other venue that tries to deliver a certain quality for their guests. This is unacceptable in so many levels.

Finally, I'm pretty sure the dude hovering behind me was a serial killer looking for someone to take home and slaughter. I couldn't drink my sorrows away either, because a Cuba Libre costs 8 Euros in this dump. This club earns its one and only star because there was no cover and the DJ did have the sense to play "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls.

It's in a very busy tourist area, and a lot of people were out and about late at night, so I felt very safe walking around here. Service is AMAZING. They let me in free of charge, telling me there was no cover charge tonight. The bartender was so sweet to me, she got me a glass of Green Fairy absinthe, and let me take a photo of the bottle. A guy approached me and asked me if he could get me a drink, which was very nice of him. He first asked in German, and when I told him I speak English, he switched to English. I politely declined, telling him I already had a drink. I had SO MUCH fun dancing too goth music (quite a handful of VNV), and especially enjoyed a remix of The Cure's "Love Song," a remix of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence," and a remix of NIN's "Head Like a Whole." Danced my way to my Fitbit calorie goal of 2100 before I headed back to my hotel room to rest up for another day of exploring Vienna!

They will claim you purchased things that you did not and then threaten to call the police on you if you do not pay. They pray on foreign people and use huge bouncers to intimidate them into submission.
