I've been to places that rush to get you in and out with piercings so this was a pleasant change. Pricing was reasonable and wait time wasn't too long. They do have their prices on their website if you're looking at how much a specific piercing is. Was able to call and get an appointment within the same day. The first issue was arriving during posted business hours only to find the shop already closed. After reaching out, I was told they sometimes close early if appointments are finished. If that's the policy, the posted hours should reflect that so customers don't waste their time making the trip.What also added to the frustration was the conflicting information. The owner stated that they sometimes "start wrapping up at 7:15," but the piercer herself stated that she was already out and the shop was closed by 7:03 PM. Those are very different explanations, and they only added to the confusion about when customers can realistically expect the business to be open. I then attempted to return another day simply to purchase jewelry and was surprised by how difficult the process became. I was repeatedly told I needed to coordinate with the piercer's schedule just to view and purchase jewelry, despite not needing a piercing service. What made the experience particularly annoying was being criticized for arriving "an hour before closing." I wasn't coming in for a tattoo, a piercing, or a lengthy consultation i was trying to purchase jewelry. Most jewelry purchases can be completed in a matter of minutes, and it's unreasonable to make customers feel as though they're doing something wrong by shopping during posted business hours. The communication throughout the process was inconsistent. I received different explanations depending on who I spoke with, and what should have been a simple retail purchase turned into multiple phone calls and messages. The employee I spoke with on the phone came across as dismissive and seemed more focused on explaining why I shouldn't come in than finding a way to help. While I appreciated the owner's apology up until they stopped answering my messages, an apology doesn't mean much if you're still willing to entertain ignorant employees who have unrealistic expectations of someone looking to make a large purchase. Customers should not be made to feel like a burden for attempting to buy jewelry during posted business hours.

It'd been like 6 years since I'd been to his OLD shop, and he remembered me and remembered details of the conversation we had when I got my tattoo then. That blew me away, but it just goes to show the kind of person he is. It's not just putting ink down. It's allowing your vision for your tattoo to come through. I went with him 6 years ago for that reason, and he continues to be the same way, allowing his professionalism to shine through as he puts your vision into form. He's super high-tech, as well. Blew me away when he super-imposed the picture of my tattoo onto my arm with some virtual reality A.I. program on his iPad. I was able to see it before he'd even put it on my arm. The process, as last time, was super chill. I trust his artistry. Granted, I had more of a vision of what I wanted... but even his process of tweaking and asking good questions so that you get exactly what you want, but also something that will make 'tattoo sense' (just made that up, not sure if it's an actual phrase, but you catch my drift). All in all, as before, he killed the tattoo. I took public transportation from Brooklyn... 2 hours each way... just so that I could come have him do my tattoo. Highly recommend. HIGHLY!
