Al Ferrante came highly recommended for both his artistry and his customer care. After looking at his work and speaking with former customers, I reached out to Al and his amazing wife Denise helped me plan the tattoo as a surprise for my husband. We traveled all the way from where we live in Vermont, (close to 4 hours each way), to meet with Al and go over the design. His design was exactly what my husband hoped for! The tattoo came out beautifully and is truly a work of art. Al's talents as an artist and caliber of character and professionalism made the entire experience real gift for us both. All my sessions felt like I was just hanging out with a friend, laughing and chatting.   The result of my half sleeve was breathtaking!!  He even gave me a fun aftercare kit.  It has a special salve that goes on so smooth and perfect for those initial painful healing days.  A bunch of cool stickers, and samples of Aquaphor and alcohol wipes, which are perfect on the go or in a pinch.  One of my faves is the pen in the kit.  I'm just a dork for promotional pens, but this one was really nice and had a purpose.  The back of the package has a fun checklist to go through.  Some of which include a newsletter to sign up for, money towards your next tattoo if you leave a great review, and much more.  All in all, Pure Ink is amazing.  The staff is always friendly and the facility is always clean.  I will definitely be returning and have already started planning my next tattoo with Danny.  He is AMAZING and worth every penny.  Don't do what I did and cheap out on a tattoo.  I had to get 2 cover-ups and it was still hideous, but then Danny fixed it for me and you would never know it was a cover-up.   It just looks like beautiful art. Beyond his integrity, the thing that stood out most to me was how incredibly passionate Shawn is about the reputation of his shop. The guy said to get an idea of what he wants. After, looking he found a few that he liked. But, wasn't in his price range. The man then said well we do have an apprentice here today you can take a look at her art and let us know. My boyfriend was thinking okay I'm assuming she charges around my price range. He asked how much it would be and the guy said it is free!!! My boyfriend was all in at this point. He had an amazing experience with Claire and left with a bad ass tattoo. He even went back a few weeks after that and got another one. The owner Shawn is amazing!! He's super nice. Even talked about the New Jersey devils while getting his tattoo done. Over all an amazing experience. The vibe is great everyone just talking and laughing. Every single one of the staff members are great as well. Unfortunately, Claire isn't doing free tattoos anymore.
