I called this morning to inquire about an auto quote and spoke to a woman who answered the phone. I…read moream enrolled in an address confidentiality program that does not use a physical address. I was attempting to explain that I was having trouble getting an auto quote because of this and by law, insurance providers must accept this address. Auto insurance is specifically addressed in the handbook provided to participants of this program. The woman I spoke to continued to talk over me with increasing aggression, would not listen - and when I told her that I understood her system could not accept the non-physical address but this was then a compliance issue concerning her system, she told me to "take it up with the Secretary of State" and -hung up on me.- Nobody is in a program like this for fun. To be treated this way while attempting to get an auto quote while adhering to the policies of the program is pretty appalling. This woman also misrepresented what occurred when contacted about compliance. To anyone reading this affiliated with this agency, please pull the recording of the phone call. Imagine using this agency when something has happened to you in which you need to utilize your insurance. Find another agent that will be in your corner when you need it instead of behaving like this out of the gate.

All these coverages were complex and costly and years later when we suffered a large claim, Chubb closed that office in 2007, here in Minnesota. ( Rosenbloom& Rosenbloom. Moved all their staff to an existing company). We had a lovely agent who was not well trained and had made major errors. In our policy. So we lost.... a lot. So ... I am now very very careful in researching agents, READING Yelp reviews, all of them, and especially learning exploring the many questions to ask. Then, I spent 2-3 long relaxed calls with most of the agents over several days. I took detailed notes and keep them in a Meade flexi 3 ring binder with names of agents dates at the top of each page. I find careful detailed notes are a big help in deciding which agent looks the best. Natalie is the VERY best agent I ever had in all these years. She is bright, extremely knowledgeable in all aspects nuances of coverage/ claims issues, so very comfortable easy and calm to work with, (rare) and a truly lovely and delightful human being. She and I spent many calls going over all the details of the needed policy. Our coverage is very complex and includes a rental with important old pieces of furniture and a lot of " stuff" in storage. Farmers to my knowledge is the ONLY company that will provide homeowners with 100 % coverage also on your storage. ( good if you are renting and storing most of your things for selling or family distribution later!!). Most other companies only offer 10 % of the total homeowners on storage or 25-50 %. I interviewed five other companies and Farmers offered us the most thorough RENTAL homeowner's insurance coverage. Their terms are EXCELLENT, their coverage easy to digest, and you can settle the contract with 100 % PEACE-OF-MIND! Good luck!!

I signed up with her for a Progressive CARRR INSURANCE ONLY and never knew she is also a Farmers Agent. She took advantage of me because I was young and didn't know anything. I got my first and only car from my brother and he had her before, so his wife recommended her for car insurance. Then later, I found out she's related to some of my friends, so I thought I could put a lot of trust in her. 3 years after of her being my agent, I found out I have a flippin LIFE POLICY under Farmers Insurance and my renter was under Farmers also. I was young and didn't know what a renter or anything is, so she lied to me that the renter is car-related, so I agreed to the renter. And then the life policy, I never knew it existed at all. I am sure she slipped other documents with the documents I signed for my progressive car insurance. ***Lesson for young or vulnerable individuals, don't go to her and please READ ALL documents even if you know the person you are dealing with or thought you can reply on them. She lies about policies and slips in papers for you to sign. Farmers did not do much with my case. I provided so many evidence, and I got a call that they only examined the signatures and didn't seem to care that she lied about the policies and documents she gives to her customers, but if she's no fired, I take it back. I got a recording of our conversation on the phone after I found out and she tries to run away multiple times, which I keep insisting that can't run away and then call me back "in a bit", and then hung up on me. What's worse is my parents are under her too and she knows they're client of hers-- so while opening the account she had used my parents info (names) as the beneficiary. She also claimed I had done a medical exam, when I only went to her for a car insurance. Contacted Farmers to get these documents, and it seems like everyone is going MIA about these documents I'm requesting for because she never gave me any copies of the documents. Just a printed paper for the insurance card. I was dumb to have so much trust in her and not even ask her for the copies. If you're under her currently or know anyone under her, you should call to check Farmers ANDD Progressive if you have any other hidden policies because she's apparently an agent for both.

Green Tree charges you $12 to pay your mortgage online. You can mail it in, but they then take an inordinately long time to cash the check. Fortunately, we mail early enough that it only goes a bit into the grace period. But I think they are setting folks up for late fees. Then, their customer service is third rate when you call and their website is college intern quality. Bottom line: They aren't even better than a stick in the eye. At least that heals in better than 20 years.
