Distraught and totally lost a dear friend said Stephen and his people could help. I immediately reached out, got a fast response and began the paperwork. I had a ton of questions about what to do and how to do it. For most all my questions, I was told I'd have to call someone or it was left unanswered. The probate part ended up being the only part actually started by the group and that I didn't have to seek other legal help with. More expense on top of paying for a car and huge house that are in the estate was most unwelcome. The "6 weeks or less" has long since passed for the only thing I need from this particular group. All the "assurances from the attorney or anyone else I've dealt with there have passed. I can't get anyone to respond to me anymore, nor can the person who recommended him. The 100% cessation of communication and lack of help with anything but starting (but not finishing) Letters of Administration has forced us to seek help from other attorneys and the bar association. Recommendations from friends can be great, especially in a very difficult time, but definitely should of read reviews and done some research first. Lesson learned, and still don't have the document I've paid a lot for.

All the other law firms that contacted me dropped my case because of that dreadful police report. Not Morgan & Morgan. This great law firm saw that injustice was being served and came to my rescue. Because of the lack of…read morecommunication, I had to send my own paperwork in to request the type of hearing I would prefer since the letter said I only had 10 days to respond and they never responded to my several messages. I left a one-star review previously due to the communication nonsense, then a very nice lady calls me and tells me she's changing my case manager over to a different lady "Amber". I boosted the rating to a five-star because of how awesome she was. Then the new lady she assigned, lied to me stating that I couldn't change my mind on the type of hearing I would like to have. I decided to search the internet and found out that I can change my mind, I will post the wording below. I believe "Amber" my new Legal Assistant decided to tell me that information because obviously the longer it takes the more money they make. I should have known better to hire a large firm like this. Bad mistake on my part! Don't follow suit!!! Info found: Yes, you can change your mind. If you initially asked for an in-person hearing with a Social Security Administrative Law Judge, you can request a switch to a telephone or online video format, though you should contact your assigned hearing office as soon as possible to make the request.
