I had another girl scheduled to do my hair, but she had to cancel, and I didn't want to ask my daughter since her wedding is in a few days. I was a tiny bit nervous and unsure what to expect, but I'm as happy as I can be with it. Christine did an excellent job & made me feel very comfortable. I relied on her judgment a bit and am so glad I did. She's professional, friendly & sweet. I would recommend her to anyone needing a new look or just a quick trim. She's quick & left me feeling very good about myself (and that's something that doesn't happen very often.)

The stylist was very rushed and used clippers after I'd asked for a scissor cut. My son has super thick and curly(ish) hair. His hair was WAS amazing!!! She zipped through the cut and it was horrendous. (I will add pictures) I cried. She was uninterested... she just kept going Then charged me $15... $3 more than I was told Once I was home and realized how bad the cut truly was (lopsided, uneven, undone, missed pieces, shaved/clippers on one side all the way up to the top of his head while the other side the ength was to his ear) I emailed the owner. She apologized and offered for me to come in the following night and she would attempt to fix it. Well I made the decision to have another stylist correct it (one that I knew and trusted) I apologized for not having gotten in contact with her sooner and explained our day (doctor for strep and corrective cut with someone else) and apologized. See, I didn't feel comfortable going back into the salon that had just WRECKED my sons hair!! I did send her pictures of the corrective cut, showing her from the stylist just how bad, and uneven his hair had been left. How bad of a haircut I'd paid for. Her response was "our salon is not a good fit for your family" AS IF WE HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! And she refuses to refund me... so I've essentially paid for this cut twice! Even though it's a 22 minute drive from my house, I sucked it up and ventured out. What I loved was their late hours on certain weekdays. I work until 4:30 and wouldn't be able to schedule an appointment any earlier than 6. Not a problem here! I arrived for my 6 pm appointment on a Thursday a few minutes early and was met by the receptionist. No clue what her name was, but she looked ready to leave and spoke in a monotone voice. Shortly thereafter I was taken back by Judi, a talkative and incredibly friendly woman who asked great questions and seemed interested in my responses. Within 30 minutes my hair had been washed, trimmed 2 inches and dried. I even rocked my part on a different side, breaking out my wild side wahoo! I will say it was a bit pricier than I expected. $43 for a wash and trim. But they were speedy and nice throughout the entire process so I suppose it was worth it.

The very nice woman who cut my hair tried, but I didn't end up loving it, in fact I hate it, but she did a great job of giving it volume when I have very little. I actually quite liked the way the back turned out, just not the front. I chopped it all off into a pixie. I'm not mad. It's only hair and I usually end up not loving my hair cuts, which is why I don't tend to cut it often or spend money on it. I was just hoping that if I went somewhere like this I would love the results. Will I be back? Maybe, but it's not because of anything other than I hate spending money on my hair. I went to Lauren and I showed her the inspiration pictures. She never mentioned that my hair was not capable of getting to the color from the inspo pics I showed her until after the process was complete and my hair was dry. I just would've appreciated knowing upfront that she didn't think she could achieve the color on my hair. I was counting on her professional advice. Afterwards the stylist made rude and inappropriate comments including " you're straight trash" "you're brain dead" "When you get a job in your life , then we can talk. Commissary.don't cut it. Good luck Circus clown", also ones that were racist " welcome to America" " Girl your features .. you're dark lol" and completely out of line like "you're a fucking idiot". I was shocked, but I still tried to keep things civil and give her the benefit of the doubt. After everything, she promised to refund me for the appointment, but never followed through. I gave her multiple chances to make things right, but she chose not to. I was nothing but kind, and I definitely didn't deserve to be treated this way. No one should ever be made to feel disrespected or uncomfortable in a place that's supposed to make you feel confident and cared for.
