What caught my eye was the more "dressy" items that you normally don't see in a resort town shop mixed in with the more casual and "beach" clothing. This shop holds an amazing collection of clothes, accessories and gift items. The staff could not be more friendly or less intrusive! They are extremely welcoming and helpful.

Another year, another update. On vacation again, doing laundry again, and needed to spend the "dry…read moretime" so walked next door to Daisy Jane's. Still an aesthetically pleasing place to browse, and they have a select quantity of beautiful clothing, shoes, and accessories. So many lovely, quality items! This year I bought two ample-sized shawl/wrap/scarves (Daisy big wrap) for when it eventually gets cold (it was in the 80s the day I bought them, but I know winter is a-comin'). They are incredibly soft, and come in the most gorgeous colors (I bought one in a deep plum color, and another in a rich teal. I hate winter, but I will be prepared to keep warm in style. The wraps were just $24, and I already know I'll be getting many compliments when I wear these. I also bought a light, airy poncho that can be worn several ways. I bought one here last year--in indigo--and I wear it over solid-colored basics. I never fail to get compliments on it (and it adds just the right amount of light warmth and coverage, as well as a pop of color--sorry, I normally stay away from using overplayed terms like that, but it fits). It's the Van Klee poncho, just $22, and I got one in fuschia. I fell in lust with some of their fabulous jewelry but had to get back to my laundry. I think I'll be back before heading home on the weekend. As noted in my previous review, the ladies working in the shop were friendly and helpful, but not right on top of me as I shopped (thank you, thank you). This is my favorite shop in York.

The bags themselves are already so reasonably priced, and every time I visit they seem to have some type of sale happening, yesterday it was 50% off a certain collection. While I skipped past my usual purchase of clutches and went straight for a tote, they did not have what I wanted in store and then my mind was blown when I was informed I could customize my tote (in fact everything they make can be) and it was only $10 more than the price of their standard tote. Quinn who helped me literally answered 25 question. Could I pick the mesh inside? Could I change the clasp? Could I add pickets? Could I have black handles? It was only after I paid & the process was done did I learn how terrible it was, it wasn't what they initially said at all, it was splash-proofing (I don't care about that, they're just shoes). There's also a downside of making your shoes less breathable, so thanks for not thinking to tell me this BEFORE spraying my mesh running shoes. I paid them money, in order to receive an inferior product. Go there, find what you want, but leave & buy what you want online somewhere else. At least you won't end up feeling scammed.

We looked in the back at their clearance racks and were able to find a pair of black men's shoes. They have several sales and we were able to snag these for $30. I also found a pair of women New Balances for myself. The guy at the counter was nice. I also see they do not give out bags for our shoes in Maine either. Prices were decent.
