Breakfast is served until 11, we got here just a few minutes before 11 and they didn't mind making us breakfast still. I had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and they were light and fluffy and a huge serving. Other had eggs on toast with hash browns and said it was really nice. The cakes were also very delicious. I loved my sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce. Others had the brownie (yummy) and carrot cake (very good). All generous proportions. Nice friendly staff as well and all reasonably priced. This restaurant adjoins the reefworld aquarium and I believe you can get a deal for all day entry to aquarium and a meal from Waterfront. The inside of the restaurant looks like an amazing space to have a wedding/ function.

Nearly every restaurant in Australia that offers scallops mentions that they are from Hervey Bay so we had very high expectations. Keep in mind my partner HATES scallops. So for him to even be trying them was a huge deal. I ordered the Hazelnut Butter Baked while he ordered the Tempura. With no exaggeration these were the BEST scallops I have EVER eaten! My partner even loved them that he ordered a second round. I enjoyed mine more than his but they were both incredible. The hazelnut butter was nothing like Ive ever tasted before. So rich and flavorful. we also got seafood chowder and spring rolls but I would honestly skip those next to tp just get more scallops. Highly recommend this place! However, they get extremely crowded so definitely try and make a reservation. We came right when they opened for dinner so they had a spare outdoor table for us, but it was extremely windy and cold. With a reservation you can get a seat inside which would have been more comfortable.
