The shop is a chill, well-kept, inviting space that puts you at ease right off the bat. The front desk staff is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The piercer/owner Missy is a truly special person. She is professional and it's easy to see that she knows what she's doing, but she's down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I got my nipples pierced so I was understandably nervous, and she explained every single step of the process and made me feel very comfortable and calmed me down significantly. I was a little lightheaded afterward, and she showed genuine concern for my well-being. She brought me gatorade, chatted with me until I felt better, and made certain I was OK before letting me leave. She explained the aftercare thoroughly and made me feel confident that I can care for my piercings properly during the long healing process. Do not expect cheap, but when it comes to body modification, and I cannot stress this enough - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If you want your piercing to be done right, heal correctly, look good, and not cause harm to your body, do yourself a favor & spend the money at this shop. I will be going back to this shop for jewelry change-outs because, besides the fact that I trust them, they have a large selection of high-quality jewelry to choose from. The store staff has always been very helpful to anyone who walks in. Went in a decade ago because I needed a cigarette holder for my debilitated father who was terminally ill. So gracious and helpful. This shop is now the only place that sells kratom in the area to my knowledge- several varieties and with good turnover so it isn't sitting stale. Hope they stay open forever.
