He was able to come to inspect immediately and showed me that he would be able to level it and he did not try to over sell me. He was fast and did an amazing job. He did let me know that they could do the installation if Home Depot kept delaying. Home Depot tried to schedule me over a month out so I called Mark and he was available within a couple of days. Along with installing the floor, he let me know that he could also take a look at my outside deck which I had told him needed replacing. At the same time as installing the floor, he was able to order and have delivered the wood needed for the deck. Between both projects it took about 2 weeks to complete which was absolutely amazing. It's a small bathroom and the work involved…read moreexpanding the room by moving a wall, moving a toilet & shower, tile work, drywall, etc. We got quotes from multiple contractors - Alec quoted our project. We hired Richlynn because the price seemed fair enough and the timeline worked for our schedule. I had a few concerns about Alec's lack of attention to detail, ability, and experience, but I trusted the generally positive online reviews. The concerns I had initially turned out to be valid and we unfortunately did not have a good experience. These are the things that made working with Alec and Rich very challenging. * Poor Communication - We were told Alec was going to run the project. However, any time I asked Alec a basic question, he would not be able to answer and would defer to his dad (Rich). This happened 90% of the time. Rich spends most of the year in Arizona, making it difficult to communicate what is going on in person at the project. * Poor Coordination - Alec was responsible for managing the project - overall, planning and coordination was very disorganized. For example, Alec/Rich would tell us the plumber would be at the house in the morning. We would coordinate our work schedules to be there, and then the plumber would show up at 4pm, not at all, or the morning the next day. * Door Framing Issues - The guys incorrectly sized the door opening for the new wall. The new door opening needed to be the same size as the original opening. It was a battle to get them to come back out to fix the mistake. Rich became very defensive without even seeing the issue. * Plumbing Issues / Warranty - We had multiple issues with the plumbing Richlynn installed - none of these issues existed before they showed up, they all started right after they completed the project. The issues include a loud knocking noise every time the shower turns on and a strong sewage smells from the toilet/sink. We have a 6-month warranty as part of our contract. The plumber came out, told us that it was an issue with the newly installed plumbing, and that he needs to talk to Rich about next steps. Rich then told us it was not their issue and that they were not going to fix it. We have gone back and forth for months trying to get them to fix their issue without resolve. Rich then told us they would come out if we paid $1,025 upfront for them to assess the work they installed. We did our best to be fair, to communicate, and to work through the obstacles, but working with Rich/Alec was unnecessarily difficult and I would definitely not recommend them. A good lesson for us to learn, and hopefully useful insight for anyone looking to hire them.

Even if it would take a day to respond to a question Bryam was very polite about it. I know this is a positive review for RMZ tile, but it may as well be a negative review for other contractors. If you don't respond to my texts, you're not getting the job. If your communication skills aren't good and you don't actually answer the questions I send you, you're not getting the job. Bryam's communication is what made me feel confident moving forward with him, and I was very pleased with how everything turned out. Onto the job itself, we got old black glass tile backsplash ripped out of our kitchen and replaced with white herringbone. Not only does it look great, but Bryam gave me some advice on which grout to go with to hide smaller imperfections in the mosaic tile alignment. His advice was spot on, and the new white tile with white grout looks a thousand times better than what was there before. Bryam and his brother Edgar did fantastic work, they were fast, efficient, friendly, and I honestly couldn't ask for a better experience. If I ever redo my bathrooms, I know who I'm calling.
