Excellent work. This company uses polyurethane instead of concrete, which is a much better method of lifting and stabilizing concrete. Abdul and John did great work, and the project was completed quickly and professionally. I would not recommend Liftech based on my experience. The biggest concerns were the lack of proper subgrade preparation, the lack of transparency, and the difficulty getting clear, consistent answers throughout the process. I specifically chose and paid extra for high early cement because my goal was to regain access to my garage parking as soon as possible. I expected clear guidance on the product's performance and realistic timelines. Instead, I received conflicting information ranging from not being able to walk on the concrete for 48 hours to not being able to park on it for anywhere from 2-10 days. When I asked for clarification, the responses were vague. Liftech's production manager stated, "There are no specific specs for high early since it is mixed with concrete at the plant," and also said, "There is varying information because no concrete is created equally." I would expect concrete professionals and concrete plants to have more consistent information regarding the product being installed. Another major concern was the subgrade preparation. Liftech subcontracted the concrete work, and when the crew arrived, they did not even have a compactor onsite. I asked the workers if they planned to compact the subgrade, and based on their responses and actions, it did not appear that proper compaction was part of their plan until I contacted their Project Manager and requested that a compactor be brought to the site. The subbase also does not appear to have been watered down as part of the preparation process. The video speaks for itself regarding the preparation that was completed before the concrete was poured. For a project of this size and cost, I expected better communication, transparency, and attention to detail. Just pick a different provider if you want to have a good experience. Spring of 2023 and a long stretch of very rainy weather predicted. Good project planners would have postponed, but Liftech took down a section of fence (creating a hazard for our dogs), parked a backhoe in our yard, and damaged our neighbors property in the process. Then it was too wet to work - so this mess sat there for weeks. Once work started, it must have been the practice session for the guy on the backhoe - they ended up damaging our seamless steel siding, requiring replacement of a large section of siding, which caused a delay in project completion. Replacing a basement window with an egress window should've been easy - but the crew tossed the removed window onto our rock landscaping, leaving another hazard for visitors with small children, us, and our dogs.. Despite our patience with them while their heavy equipment was parked on our yard, Liftech was unwilling to wait until our siding repairs were complete for final payment. We explained repeatedly that we were waiting for final invoicing from the siding contractor (by now we were not confident they would reimburse for excess expense for repairs) - but Liftech filed a lien against our house instead of having an adult conversation. Then last fall while doing yard cleanup, we realized that they had left a gap between the foundation wall and base plate of our home - full sized leaves were blowing into our basement. Their response: Not our responsibility - go to Home Depot and fix it yourself. Gee, it seems like after paying them this much money they could've restored the house to a safe, sealed condition. One Crack Lou thought might expand but it didn't. They took care for each foot, didn't rush. Had to use a concrete saw too. Cleaned up area well. Workmen personable, explained as they went along. The most irresponsible company I've ever dealt with. They put a new driveway, walkway and porch and my property and left the water running for four hours with the leaky pipe. Flooded out my entire basement lower bathroom and bedroom, the walls are saturated. I've had to hire a plumber and a remediation company to fix the damage that they caused. Granite, they had a dump truck ready to haul away the concrete, cement truck ready to pour the new concrete and they were not willing to reschedule because my exterior faucets were leaking and we're cracked. They told me this after the fact that the water was running for 4 to 5 hours. It completely flooded my downstairs bathroom, ruined my walls in my downstairs bedroom, flooded my crawlspace in the basement and tore down all of the insulation work. This is so irresponsible and I am taking them to court. Don't use them, their reviews are not correct, must be family members. I wouldn't even give them one star they have caused an additional $10,000 in damage and continue to harass me for a past due bill. I am not going down without a fight, lawyers contacted. read more

The Liftech crew is the absolute best! The home we're flipping was built in 1899 and needed extensive foundation repair and a digout. In fact, the home was actually starting to droop in the center with the edges held up by the original brick. Former home owners had done some "creative manipulation" of the foundation using shims and posts, but 25 years ago the home was abandoned and matters just got worse. I did lots of research and found that hydraulic piers lifting brick homes can be very dangerous causing houses to cave in. As I called around to get foundation estimates, this was in the back of my mind. From upwards of $150000 estimates, to companies saying they were "the best" and badmouthing others in the industry, to the crew that suggested a hydraulic lift and then proceeded to say "honey, you shouldn't do research but instead leave it to the experts" when I expressed my reservations, I didn't know where to turn. Enter Liftech. It all started with Darren, who is AMAZING! Not one time did I ever feel belittled or misunderstood. Darren listened to what I had to say, yet he was so knowledgeable he never suggested, not one time, that we lift the home with piers. He suggested researching the real issues, and really working closely with an engineer who loves historic homes to determine best practices. He also told me to shop other companies for best price and fit. I already had, but I didn't look again after that. Once work started, the crew was friendly, funny, fast, efficient, and for a huge project the price was better than you can even imagine! Darren has continued to check in throughout the length of my project, worked with me to find the perfect man for pouring my exterior walkways and concrete, and just shows genuine interest in the work. I used Liftech to fix a sinking front sidewalk at my previous home and the work they performed was outstanding. I started my involvement with Liftech by receiving a quote for work from Brian via email. The quote Brian gave me was very fair (in my opinion) and although I did not move forward with the work at that time, when I did contact Brian again to schedule the work (5 months later), he still had my paperwork on file and quickly got me in touch with the scheduler to begin the process. The crew showed up to perform the work 3 weeks later. Two crew members fully explained to me what they would be doing and proceeded to quickly prep and then begin the foam injections. They had cleaned up and were ready to be paid 70 minutes later. The sidewalk looked outstanding, they cleaned up as if they'd never been there, and were polite and professional the entire time. The leak behind the toilet on the water line dripped so slowly that the drywall below it had only a watermark on it and the water never reached the ground, how could this effect my basement sinking??? After completing the repair to my foundation, they failed to properly restore my landscaping, failing to tamp down the dirt creating two sink holes. After two weeks I went to their office to let them know I had not heard a thing from them. The office manager was polite and apologetic, offering to get my bid for me at that time. I declined her offer for the estimate and to do business with them. Sorry, your client should not have to go to you for the follow up with estimates. My experience was top notch from scheduling an estimate all the way through to the crew who did all the repairs. And I believe their methods and technology are much better suited for our expansive soils than the old process of using "mud". Every company should be as professional, knowledgable, and courteous as these guys. Seriously. No joke. From initial contact, through the estimation process with Brian and the work and cleanup that was done by Darren, these guys have some seriously high standards. I filled out a contact form online, Brian called, set up a time, showed up on time, talked me through the estimate, and even looked at another area under my porch at my request. The original estimate was for the back three slabs of my garage floor that had sunken do to a backfill failure over time. The estimate for that was straight forward and reasonable. At my request, Brian looked at my porch and demonstrated that it wasn't a concern by explaining what I was seeing and using a probe to locate the piers. In doing so, he passed up the opportunity to try to up-sell me on work I didn't need. Plus one for honesty and integrity. The software they use for estimates, work agreements, and invoices is very nice and provides transparency into the business side of things. The scheduling was updated by them a couple times and each time I got an email with links to confirm whether or not the new time worked for me and a link to add it to my phone's calendar. The day of the appointment, they were short staffed due to medical/dental issues with a couple techs, but I was contacted first thing in the morning, well before my appointment by Darren who explained the situation. He called again when he was enroute and he arrived within 40 minutes of the originally scheduled time which is very reasonable all things considered. No four hour windows that get missed here. This was prompt communication and timely arrival despite challenges. When he arrived, he was extremely polite and professional. He reviewed the estimate, walked me through the area and explained why the concrete had sunk: a backfill failure along the basement foundation wall. He also pointed out a couple concerns and told me what was going to happen when he concrete moved back into place. He started and completed the job with the help of one of the techs (sorry forget his name, but he was polite and professional as well) who arrived later. In the end, everything Darren said would happen did, and no surprises. The concrete moved back into place, raising the sunken edges and dropping the opposite edges that were becoming a trip hazard back into place. Everything looks great and now the garage slabs have been returned to their original grade from 15 years ago. All in an hour! Don't even bother calling anyone else. Save yourself the headaches and quit waiting to repair your sunken concrete. Liftech was fast and flawless. read more

The first employee that came out didn't know how to fix my patio, and didn't even measure. I don't know why he bothered to come out, then he offered to send his foreman out. Had them come out to give an estimate to raise a corner of my driveway. An estimate was given and I scheduled an appointment. A month later appointment day comes so I take off work to be there. A single tech arrives, walks up muttering about how bad of a week he was having, obviously in a bad mood and looks at my driveway and says in the grumpiest tone imaginable 'This needs to be torn out, I'm not touching this, have a nice day' and walks off back to his truck without explaining a thing. WTF? A competitor said they could do it, their estimator said they could do it and I took a day off work for nothing and was treated with complete rudeness and disrespect by the tech. If they couldn't do it fine, but being told they could by the estimator, their competitor Groundworks saying they could do it, taking off work, and being talked to the way I was by their tech is completely unacceptable. I can say with 100% certainty that given this techs attitude I'm glad he did not do the job, who knows how that would have turned out. read more

Great job, quick and painless. Bid process went well and job was done as bid. I talked to two other companies, and one was very high with old technology and the other didn't even want to do it. It was a straight forward simple job. Not sure why the other company didn't even want the business. Told me a lot about them. Liftech made it look easy. Only negative, was the "yellow" foam lifting agent that was visible where the dirt was missing along the edge of the sidewalk. I had to bring in a bunch of dirt and build up around the sidewalk and plant new vegetation to cover that up, but it looks good now. read more

Liftech just came out today to lift our concrete, and I was extremely happy with the job. They quoted us a very fair price, but they were also honest up front about what to expect concerning the lifting, so that we didn't have unreasonable expectations for the results, But in the end, they were able to get better results than we expected anyway. The one section that couldn't be helped, he informed me about before progressing so that he didn't waste either his time or my money, which we greatly appreciate. Through the whole process, he was professional and willing to answer my questions. Our concrete is a lot safer in spots and looks a lot better thanks to Liftech, and I will definitely recommend them to others in the future. P.S. If you think that he only set our expectations low so that he could then easily exceed them, I would point out that we got quotes from two other companies. One refused to do the job at all because of the "current cracking," and the other, when asked about the cracking (and after he had given us a bid for several hundred more than Liftech), admitted that he would not lift his own concrete if it were in the state ours was in. So I feel comfortable saying that Liftech gave us reasonable expectations, but still did their best and gave us great results. read more

I used LIftech to fix a few concrete sinking issues around my house. The first was my garage floor that had sunk 3 inches. When it rained or snowed the water would drain in to the garage and pool up against the foundation becoming a little pond of water. I was impressed by the end-to-end process: Quoting the work, scheduling the appointment, and especially fixing the floor. They bored about a dozen holes in to the garage floor, that were patched and virtually invisible to the untrained eye when they finished. Nice work! The guy (Neil) working on the floor was not rushed and took his time to avoid creating new cracks the concrete. I was pleased with the results. The other project was my patio that cracked in the most inconvenient place, by the back door. They informed me that the crack may not raise to an even level since it was cracked in two sections.
