This was for a special birthday and it's all we wanted to do. Needless to say, we never got a call back, so we were not able to fulfill the birthday wish. The birthday girl and I am severely disappointed, sad and now angry. This is not the experience we wanted or expected. We were in the store six months ago and everyone was falling all over themselves to set up a private class. This isn't how you run a business, it's not how you treat customers, and it's certainly not how you stay in business. The business owner, Cindy, saw my review and said they do not have the staff to offer private classes. Then continued to say to check the website for a form that has info on private events. So which is it? Either you do or you don't. It doesn't matter because they've lost our business and we are now spreading the word to avoid this place because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. We did get two call backs by the way, one guy told us we needed to talk to Priscilla (who never called us back or would come to the phone) and the other said she taught those classes but wouldn't be available the day we wanted.

However, there were a few cons -- he used cheap acrylic paint (which I understand) but the brushes were also extremely cheap and used to the point where it caused frustration with my painting because the brushes would not do what I envisioned. My spouse, who is an artist, was frustrated by this as well. I also expected a little more guidance than I got as someone who does not do art -- there were certain times I was really struggling and would've benefitted from a more hands-on approach than just letting us do our own thing. I still had fun, but I don't think that for the materials and guidance we got, it was fairly priced at $45 pp. For the experience we got I would've expected to pay closer to $30 pp.

Alejandro is amazing! I scheduled a private painting party for my BF's birthday. First, I messed up…read morethe scheduling online and booked wrong dates and wrong type of painting. Alejandro was very helpful and patient with me and accommodated my request regardless of wrong booking. Second, my BF changed the plans on him last minute and asked if he could paint his pet instead of the landscape we initially picked before. He graciously accommodated his request and took the time to sketch each of our pets and stayed overtime to make us happy. He also didn't rush us out the door even though we stayed much longer than expected. He is very friendly and pleasant person to work with. If you have a special day and want to make it memorable, book an art class with him. You won't be disappointed!
