Within a week I was Invoiced for that assessment. I'm not even sure if it was ever completed but I paid it. On November 1st I was advised by the director, Raina that there would be a delay In receiving the assessment but therapy would begin. At that point I was advised that a new therapist would start with my daughter. She would be training someone who would then become my daughters therapist. (this was not was I agreed on) On November 4th the therapist cancelled on us. Therapist was unavailable for the rest of the week. November 12th my daughter went in and everything seemed fine. No formal schedule was arranged because of staffing issues. I was then advised that the therapist was going on vacation. Its now November 25th and a formal program has not been arranged and I haven't received the assessment. I reached out to the director for a copy and she advised me that she couldn't access it because the therapist that completed it was no longer there. So no assessment but I paid $275. And no one reached out to tell me of the problem. The only reason that I know is because I reached out for it. Horrible place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My biggest issue with this place is that I prepaid the tuition, It wasn't excessive however I've started receiving emails - not intended for me- from parents who are requesting money back because they and their children did not attend. Odd. My daughter was informed that if her children even exhibited a slight tendency towards sickness......STAY AWAY!!! This is one of the centres in Toronto that provide information, education, and services for…read morechildren with Development Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). They provide ABA and IBI services for ASD children up to 18 years old. The staff are very friendly. There are free parent-training sessions when their children are registered for services. There are many other departments located in this building including Augmentative Communication and Writing Aids (ACWA) Program. There is a little snack shop called "Coffee Shed" that are staffed by people with ASD. When you come for a meeting, the receptionist gives you a coupon for a free small drink at this snack shop - a nice touch! The waiting area is autism friendly. For the in-house IBI services, there is a playground outside and one inside (when the weather is not good).
