Five stars and a huge shout out to both Steph and Shayne with The Creative Group. I've known Shayne…read morefor nearly 10 years, she is one of the best at what she does. A true career matchmaker. I reached out to her to let her know I was open to new opportunities but not in a rush to make a move. I wanted to find the right fit. After a few months of talking to TCG about various opportunities, I'm thrilled to say that Steph and Shayne connected me with an incredible new job. Steph was incredibly helpful throughout the entire interview process and kept things moving along quickly. She was able to also assist with the salary negotiation process which was tremendously helpful. Throughout the years of working with TCG I can also say that Anthony and Eric are very helpful, professional and dedicated to connecting the right candidates to the right companies as well. All in all, I always highly recommend TCG to anyone in the creative and marketing industries in Denver. They are fabulous at what they do and I look forward to working with them as a client now as my new team grows.

I would say stay away from recruiters in general. There was a time when Robert half was headed…read moreshoulders, a more professional effective recruiter than the others on the market. It seems as if those days are long gone. My experience with the creative Robert half team was less than stellar and doesn't seem like they really know what they're doing.

Austin Orlando is who intially found my resume and reached out to me. He was very Interacive,…read morebefore and after the interview and assured me they would reach out to me with next steps. Really, that's when all form of communication cut off, I sent him two follow up emails but nothing. My interview on a side note was really weird, the manager seemed very disinterested and I was thinking maybe she had a bad day or was on her 50th interview, either way she was rude. I wanted this review to be on Mondo's HR radar because of the people you have working there. If ignoring candidates completely is common practice in your org, imagine that being the case when your clients do that to you, especially when you're trying to close a deal. Get your people to step up and do their job or have some sort of common decency.

I've never posted a Yelp! review in my entire 30 some years of life. And I mostly read negative…read morereviews on Yelp! and think "That person sounds terrible". But my experience with Mondo was so odd that I felt compelled to write this. I moved to Denver from Chicago. I have gotten almost every single professional job through a recruiter. Two previous from Creative Circle and my current job from Aquent. So I understand the ins and outs of a recruiter situation and maybe its not always the best. Mondo called me about an off-site, 30-40 hr/week design/FED position. I was doing a full-time on-site contract job and the recruiter said I could do this position at my leisure (i.e. nights or weekends). So I said sure, even though it sounded too good to be true. The client didn't even want to talk to me on the phone. They looked at my work and wanted me to start as soon as possible. I followed up with the recruiter, Alex Beck, and he said they were waiting on the SOW from the client. Uh. You don't have a statement of work yet but you're selling the job? Finally they said I would start in 2 weeks or so. So I went to the office and filled out a W9 and other paperwork. And they photocopied my Passport. I followed up 2 weeks later and said I had heard nothing. They were still waiting on the statement of work. I even asked this time "Who is the client that will be contacting me and what is the person's name." They gave me a name and said "he will be calling you early next week" I finally gave up. This all happened in September. Its January now and I haven't heard a peep from anyone since then. My mind immediately goes to them stealing my identification. But I'm prone to panic. I know that searching for a job when you have no job is the WORST THING IN THE WORLD. I think you can tell that there were a few red flags in this whole situation, but I was sort of itching to get a job so I was overly eager perhaps. I think of myself as a level headed person and I would beg you not to waste your time with this company. It will only sell you empty dreams. SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG. JUST STAY AWAY.
