I chose one and was again shown options for it which I would purchase ion the future. Absolutely excellent advice and service... As I was leaving Kendal I phoned my wife and we decided I had made the wrong choice so a phone call to the shop (somewhat embarrassed) but again, brilliant service and nothing was too much trouble. I ended up exchanging the camera (still boxed and unopened) and was again assisted i my choice...... All of this excellent service and at the best prices on the internet!!!!! Got to say a massive thanks to Andrew and Wilkinsons. Service was second to none and excellent. Then a disasterI accidentally marked the LCD screen on the very first day of purchase whilst going on holiday. On my return I asked Dave at Photo Express if using Brasso to repair, as suggested on the web, was a good idea. His solution was ."bring it back in and we will help and do it for you as they have some special liquid/paste to do the job without risking damage. So I am going back tomorrow for what again demonstrates a five star after sales service from this shop and its team..absolutely excellent and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Best place in Manchester for 35mm film developing!…read more Cheaper and better quality prints than boots, jessops etc. Lady and man that work there are very friendly and the 1 hour processing is v reliable, one time they even spent extra time tweaking the exposure (probably not the correct terminology I'm not familiar with the process of developing prints) on some prints from very dodgy expired film that I took in, so I got better photos at the end for no extra price. If you want affordable, good prints and friendly service this is the place to go! Been going for 2 years and really missed it when I moved out of Manchester for a while - definitely recommend.

However, when I was in Jacobs looking for a new pouch for my digital camera I overheard loads of professional camera talk and advice going on with customers getting great, quality advice. As I was only in here looking for a new pouch, I kept myself to myself, and just considered my pouch option. Unfortunately, the pouches in here are all well expensive. Nigh on twenty quid just for something to put your camera in? Seems a tiny bit much. I will consider my options online.

I'm not a big fan of taking pictures, or being in them for a matter of fact. On Facebook, I think…read moremy girlfriend has about four times as many photos of herself as me for example (and we all know that your Facebook profile is the yardstick against which people should be judged, of course). My girlfriend, as you might have guessed, does like taking pictures in general and not just of herself (she's not vain, honest). So we recently took a trip to Wilkinson Cameras in Southport after her camera stopped working and hoped for some kind of solution. Upon entering, we were met by friendly and knowledgeable staff, who arranged for her camera to be fixed by the manufacturer and did so with a minimal amount of fuss. They also offered very helpful advice on what would be a good camera to buy if her camera could not be fixed; although thankfully a new camera was not needed in the end as it came back functioning perfectly. So if you're one of those people who love to get a bit snap-happy and are looking for a new camera, some good advice or a repair service, it's worth going to Wilkinson Cameras.
