So I had been coming to Wilkinson's for about 3 years to sell my junk. I've never had a problem until July 1st and 2nd of 2026. On July 1st unemployee picked up two pieces of brass off my trailer during an offload after I said he could leave them there. I was told by him that he could not leave them on the trailer because they had already been offloading it and he had already picked them up by hand. When I went to the front office to get paid I asked the question , why wasn't I allowed to bring brass or any other metal from my trailer to the front to send it. I was told that metals need to be separated prior to offload. I understood that and said okay. On July 2nd I went to offload again only this time the young man that had picked up the brass pieces for my trailer was there by the machinery doing offloads. I reversed into position an then was immediately yelled at. I was told by him, is there anything in your Fucking trailer that you still want cuz I don't want you going to the front and calling me a fucking thief again. This immediately bothered me. So I got off my truck and told him he wasn't going to speak to me that way. That I had never called him a f****** thief. I tried to explain that I had merely asked a question. And would have told him I was okay with the response I got and understood.. But now he get in my an said, Don't you know I can reject your f****** load if I want to. This is where I got completely upset and told him to reject the f****** load and to go f*** himself. I left back to the front office.. I explained the situation to the lady at the window and after a few minutes they asked me if I wanted to continue my offload that I would be okay. That the worker wouldn't be there and that they weren't going to tolerate that kind of behavior. So I unloaded and as I was leaving after being paid I was told that the manager specifically said for me not to come back without him finding out what had happened first. I agree. There was also another employee there that had seen and heard the entire confrontation and agreed with me that it was the other employee who started it and jumped me right off the bat. So when I called an asked if I could sell some can't an stuff. I was told okay until I tried to offload an was told I'm band from selling metal at Wilkinson's junkyard in Alice. The manager never even spoke to me or got my side of what happened. He simply banned me which I believe is not right. His employee cussed me out threatened me intimidated me and tried to make me feel afraid for asking questions and I'm the one that gets banned.. so for all of you that decide to sell to them be careful what you say be careful what you ask and if an employee attacks you verbally but you really need to feed your family I guess you're going to have to take it or else the manager will run you off too. read more
