Then put together All chairs an go to do the table an its falling apart. I've since that Friday spent over 5hrs on the phone trying contact. On top of that telling me last Monday now thurs now telling me I print the labels after being told 4 different things. I have all emails back an forth as I go away soon an have these 3 massive boxes in my living room with kids running around.Surely this isn't right. I will be going the onbudsman with this as the customer service is something I've never heard of before. Does anyone know what I can do. They've told me I can't return to store with it. Not normal and same excuses everytime I call.No mention in small print or on the phone that this would be the case or I'd over never of ordered. It's a disgrace! I'm on the phone again now. Still no email for collection. Absolute fekin joke! Being told the delivery company messing me around then the range are saying something else. IM BEYOND PISSED OFF!

Ah, The Range. I always think it sounds more like a cowboy's saloon, where young men can come in…read moreand get a drink slid along the bar to them by the guy behind the bar before choosing a lady and taking her upstairs. Or perhaps just a place where cowboys could go to get their boots respoked, or their horses fixed. Anyway, enough about cowboys. The Range is actually nothing to do with any cowboy-related things (unless cowboys are looking for garden furniture). The warehouse-sized shop on Southport Central 12 Business Park stocks all types of goods for your home and leisure needs. Their products range (no pun intended) from things like paint and fencing to tents and children's toys. If you're looking for something a bit more unusual that you can't find in nearby shops or can't think of where to look, I would highly recommend going to The Range as they seem to be one of those places that will stock most things involved with your home and garden, and all at fairly reasonable prices.

They also have a great pond and aquarium section with all you need to kit yourself out from pond liner to tanks to filters and fish. There assortment of fish is amazing and the kids love seeing them even if not buying, they also have more exotic items for your needs. They have a large gift area with things for everyone, adults and children with pottery, jewellery, ornaments, accesories and toys, books and games. They also have a reasonable but standard craft supply section. There is a large section that is changed to suit the season and stocks garden furniture, barbecues, picnic sets or as is currently on display, Christmas items from trees to decorations and tableware. The cafe stocks snacks, hot and cold food, cakes and full hot meals or salads. Its a decent range with varying prices for items. Outside seating is also available along with a play area for children and a resource centre you can get some great info from. They run demonstartion events throught the year for all different things and you can join their loyalty programme for a low annual fee and it gives you discount and 2 free coffees or teas a month. The instore deli is a delight and one of my favourite parts with cheeses, pates and speciality goods and a Broughs Butchers that stocks a great range too.

The name of this shop is a little bit misleading, only a little bit mind. You might imagine that…read moremost of what is stocked here is of the home improvement sort-of-type-of thing and you would be sort of right but they also sell all sorts of other garden bits and bobs and things for doing manual jobs around the house; washing baskets, step ladders; door mats and many and much, much many more! Obviously I'm not really aware what these sort items might actually be used for - I'm far too important to do my own washing or tidying up or DIY. It's not that anyone else does it; I just don't. I live in a crumbling house surrounded by my own mouldering clothes and festering dishes. On the plus side I have a lot of free time. They also do key cutting here and have a pretty extensive selection of wall clocks and indeed I've personally bought a wall clock from here before which to this day ticks and tocks and all that good stuff. Obviously it's a bit more expensive here than at B&Q or Homebase but you pay a premium for being able to get the stuff without having to spend several hours of your life, and sacrifice a chunk of your soul wandering around a retail park.

Formby Hardware is an odd shop. As well as housing the usual hardware bits 'n' bobs, it also sells…read morevarious garden ornaments and decorations, something you wouldn't expect from a small hardware store such as this. This could be an attempt to compete with larger companies like Homebase and Focus, who completely blow this shop out of the water in terms of size and choice. However, if you're looking for something specific then this is the place to go, with its location in the middle of Formby village meaning you don't have to go out of the way to get all your DIY necessities, although it does come at a price. I don't generally use it very often (I'm not much of a DIY guy quite yet) so usually my trips in there are restricted to buying electrical tape for my footy socks. Whenever I go in there however, the staff are friendly and will happily point out which tape I'm looking for when they discover me looking puzzled as I end up in the complete wrong section, as well as reminding me of its correct location and recommending the best tape to use.
