Would have been better if he was honest and said hey your chimmney doesnt really need cleaning. They also did not tell us that they accept only cash or cheque. For a business run for decades they should take a credit card for convenience. If this business is on repeat business then I think if you happen to get a clean chimmey which does not need too much or any cleaning at you should say so and charge accordingly.
