Sometimes emergencies or rush situations happen and scheduling medical transport with wheelchair capability can be a serious hassle since most transport requires advanced scheduling and planning. COMPARISONS - Sadly many insurance don't cover non-emergency medical transport. Getting old isn't cheap and medical transport isn't either, compared to other similar services ANEMT rates are average to a little better. MetroWest transport is the most popular and great, but they are constantly booked at least 1-2 days out or 5-10 hours for same day. MetroWest also has stair capable wheelchairs and stretchers by request and door to door service. TriMet offers basic medical transport for fairly cheap via shuttle, but they don't offer door to door so you'll need someone to push if the chair isn't motorized and electric. Uber and Lyft have wheelchair capable vehicles, but again, no door to door service and requires advanced scheduling. Interestingly Kaiser Washington State insurance covers non-emergency transport, but not in Oregon. Above and beyond - Along with being able to respond quickly with door to door service, they helped with transferring inside the home to and from the wheelchair. Aways super nice and friendly guys. Easy pay via credit card through a tex message link or over the phone. Have questions, be sure to ask, they are very helpful and accommodating. With traffic and appointments that go longer than anticipated, scheduling these companies can be difficult, but TKG has always arrived on time, whereas others have made me wait an hour or longer. The vehicle is always clean. The driver is absolutely polite and helpful--and careful, too. The ride is smooth. The driver is calm on the road, very steady. They are always waiting for me when I'm done with an appointment. They send out reminders of the appointment, and have reasonable pickup times. Given the choice, I would never use another service again. I feel like a quietly warm and friendly face is ready to help me and always gets everything right. I highly recommend them.

Jacqueline reached out to me by 10am Monday, confirmed the time of our ride, and answered all my questions. The driver, Gary, arrived on time, helped my mother get into the wheelchair, and made sure she was very securely placed in the van. The van itself was modern, clean, and well-equipped. I went in recently with strep throat my entire throat was completely white swollen and hurt and he said I had a cold and throat stones and no strep. But I went and got a second opinion because it hurt so bad and it was infact a form of strep that got way worse due to no antibiotics for two days because of trying to believe the guy. This is only 2 examples recently: we've never had a good experience with him I think he just guesses. I highly recommend any other location he shouldn't be practicing there.

When I arrived, it showed there were no walk-ins available for the rest of the day. Second place goes to the Providence Immediate Care down further east on Sunnyside, which will bring you longer wait times for walk-in, but they also has more equipment (X-ray, etc) than this little clinic. I've been to both, and there's a time and place for either clinic. However, if you're in need of a straight forward exam and possible Rx, this place is super convenient!
