My advice for parents of children with IEPs: Trust your kids. If they come home telling you about unbelievable hostile and traumatizing events that happened in the classroom from teachers/ staff, believe them!

I've spoken with other parents in that class and explored the curriculum with the teacher, and can see that the kindergarten is doing such a great job of preparing the kids for elementary school. The whole school truly treats the kids with Christ at the center and the culture is so welcoming and caring. I personally love that they provide lunch and snacks. Parents also bring in snacks for the class about every other/every month. The place is clean, safe, and vibrantly decorated. They send pictures, videos, and updates to parents, maintaining transparency on what's going on each day. They have a big and little kid playground with bikes for the kids to get plenty of outdoor activities as well as a big gym the kids get to play in on rainy days. My kids have learned how to pray before meals, who Christ is, and how we are saved through him. I love that my kids are excited to know Jesus, learn Bible stories, and sing their Bible songs. The teachers have also met with us to discuss the educational and emotional development of our kids. I feel 100% confident that, thanks to the love and support of the teachers at centerpoint, my kids will be educationally, spiritually, and emotionally prepared for wherever we decide to enroll them after they graduate from centerpoint preschool and kindergarten.

They are truly some of the kindest and most loving human beings that I know. As a parent, I am going to miss interacting with all of them, as they really have been a home away from home for our family. I would highly recommend this school to any parent. The teachers and directors of the school are so friendly and always give a warm welcome and fond farewell during pickups and drop-offs. As a 6th grade student, the diagnostic tests administered showed that he was performing at a 3rd grade level in math. He was devastated and so were my husband and I. We knew that his current school had failed him and we had just enrolled him at a private school for his 7th grade year, hoping for the best. He started tutoring right away (May through July 2025) and each day he felt more and more confident. Needless to say, this past year has been amazing, to say the least. My son has earned a 4.0 BOTH semesters of 7th grade!! He has come so far academically, and we owe a HUGE thanks to the team at Roseville's tutoring center for his success. My son said so himself, today. He said "mom, that tutoring center helped me out soooo much." So much so that he was even awarded "Outstanding in Mathematics" at his school recently. I contacted several tutoring centers in Rocklin and Roseville when deciding the best option for him. The Tutoring Center was (by far) the most welcoming, professional, and genuinely interested in helping him. The assessment process was very organized and the results and recommendations were clearly evidence-based and tailored for my son's specific needs. My son liked the tutors and they were very patient with him (he can be a little resistant to writing). Over the months, he has improved significantly in his writing skills and confidence. We will definitely use them as our "go to" source for tutoring.
