She listens patiently, discusses your illness or disease and its likely course, then discusses the options with you. With me, I feel like I go in to see her, tell how I feel and what my symptoms are, she asks a few clarifying questions and exams me, then she tells me what's wrong and discusses with me how to make it feel better and get better. She is willing to change directions when something is not working and she is also willing to "try it your way" when you come in with thoughts and ideas for a treatment plan that you want to try (as long as it it safe), even if it is not the approach that she would normally advise. She will tell you when you need more advanced or specialized care than she can provide in her office and will refer you to an appropriate specialist. She is always open and honest with her patients. Her office staff are all professional, efficient, and kind. I highly recommend her! If she is not available, Dr. Kurtis Elward, another doctor in that same practice, is also very good.

As the receptionist's tone became increasingly dismissive and authoritative (following each hold) while incorrectly regurgitating my initial questions back at me, I realized I was not experiencing the practice of the mission statement plastered on Downtown Family Health Care's website, at all, but instead an unusual level of pushback for having asked basic "new patient" questions in a very transparent manner. After 3 holds the "higher up" got on the line and proceeded to "handle" me in a very litigious fashion. It was quite bizarre. When I called attention to my experience, rather than acknowledge me, she told me they were not currently accepting new patients anyway. Wow....just wow......My 2 cents....don't bother calling. I had labs drawn in Sept 2025 and now (12/09/25) I want to print the lab results to send to another provider- ideally I would like to send the results to myself ......without having to print them. The portal version cannot be shared with another provider without reflecting poorly on the practice - since all the pt can see is comments about lab results- but no numbers/results. After tedious investigation, the pt can print one result at a time, if they are lucky enough to find the hidden results. There is no way to download or print results in a professional usual lab results version. This is inexcusable and is another barrier placed on my healthcare by the owner of this practice. Dr Dagli and the nursing staff are outstanding providers. I will continue to see them but will not have any labs or procedures done at this practice since the patient cannot easily access their own health care records/results etc. In 2025, I do not understand why such patriarchal medical policies and processes are in effect- by law, the pt is supposd to have easy access to all medical records including lab and procedure results. Unbelievable, such a sign of disrespect for the patient. Dr Dagli is wonderful and why she tolerates the policies of her practice, baffles me.

Place has changed.... I'm changing providers too…read more.. I made a sick visit appt for 11:40 and was told to call from my car when I arrived so they could bring me into the sick patient room. Arrived and called at 11:44. Was on hold for 14 minutes so I hung up and called back figuring they'd forgotten I was on hold. Q (lady who answered the first time) answered again and I told her my name and appt time. She said my appt was cancelled bc I arrived late (after 10 min it's cancelled). I politely said I'd been on hold for over ten mins and wasn't late. Q said, "oh I know I put you on hold but it was only a few minutes ago" with attitude. I offered to show her my phone that it was 14 min if I could just please keep my appt. Feeling terrible and desperate to be seen. Nope, couldn't. No empathy or sorry, just attitude. Called the nurses line and by that point the provider had left.... I feel horrible, have three sick kids at home, and have been a patient for nearly 40 years. Spent hours of my life waiting while they're running late. Treated like crap when I needed to be seen most when I have the flu. Done with them.
