My son was taken to wm Newton hospital by ambulance 09/27/2025 for a seizure that wouldn't stop. They diagnosed him with low sodium 122 which can cause seizures and death at that value, he wasn't treated for low sodium, only given keppra a seizure drug, that he already takes, and sent home, he still wasn't fully responsive, we took him to KU in Kansas City ourselves since wm Newton wouldn't help us get him there, this is about the 4th time wm Newton has played with our sons life like this, our son is very fragile. Anyway he was immediately triaged and ER care started. When he was stabilized he was admitted to a room in KU hospital, at this point he has several team of Dr's working on him. He is not ok and if we. Had taken him home like they ordered us to do he would have died I would like to know where they get these so called Dr from that Wm Newton hospital uses, I was told from someone in the general public that the one Dr that is in the ER dept of wm Newton a lot is called Dr death in the general community due to him sending critical ill patients home from the ER saying nothing wrong just to have them either die or end up being admitted to another hospital in serious condition. I will let Wm Newton Hospital know that when I am trying to get my son care I don't want him admitted to their hospital, what I want is for them to help me get him to a hospital that can handle his complex needs, and if he dies in the process of trying to get this done after he has first visited their ER, I will sue for wrongful death, and I will win, I have to much documentation of how he has been treated in the past at this hospital. read more

sono tech honored my mask exemption. pregnant Mammo tech was wearing mask & wouldn't honor mask exemption. pregnant women not suppose to wear useless masks. dexa tech was total mask nazi. she didn't want to argue about mask exemptions but she sure wanted to lecture & get off in power trip. everything we were told about c19 was LIES. they also didn't send bill to correct address & sent to collections. read more

I had an excellent stay and excellent care for my gallbladder surgery. Check-in staff were kind and welcoming. All of the nurses were friendly and ready to accommodate. They were regularly checking on my pain levels and comfort and to see if I had any questions. No question I had was treated anything less than with respect. They also made sure to explain everything they were doing as things came along. Anesthesia team were kind, helpful, and even when I got talkative as I was knocking out they were still very courteous. Explained everything. Surgical team was accommodating and friendly. Answered all questions and explained everything as it was going on. Doctor, of course, was also on top of everything. He even asked me about my history and how I react with pain medication so as to prescribe the right one when i was discharged from the hospital.-I had the fastest recovery of any surgery. I would recommend having medical care done at this facility. read more

William Newton Hospital (WNH) are Thieves. They billed us for services that they did not perform. My wife was scheduled for a visit with her Radiation Oncologist. After we finished with the Dr. at the Cancer Center, they had us Check with WNH to make sure they were "In-Network" our insurance. After a painful 2.5 hour wait, in their Lobby, they informed us that they were NOT "In-Network" our insurance. At that point, we told them that we decided we would go to The Cancer Center in Wichita for all treatment. We paid the Oncologist for his visit (Approx. $460) However, we have just received a bill from WNH for $578! Absolutely no services by WNH were provided. The only thing we can think of is they are charging us for sitting in their lobby, while they tried to figure out if our insurance was in Network. Watch out and beware and watch your Bills! read more

a friend was having a panic attack and we drove her to the hospital and we had to bang on the door to get attention And walk to go get a wheelchair for her because they just pointed. They refused to give her service before they had her Information. Unless it is an absolute emergency I will never come back.
