The front desk staff (Terry) was very friendly and helpful. The nurse, Denise was very thorough in her pre-examination going over all of my mom's records and history. Dr. Procaccino was very professional. He gave us a thorough conclusion about what he believed to be the best plan of care for my mom. He took the time to make sure all our questions were answered. My mom was very satisfied with the visit and the information we received. Side note: The in-office restroom was extremely clean, as were the exam rooms. There is also a very relaxing fish tank in the waiting area, along with several artistic coffee table books to peruse while you wait to be called in.

I was at Elmhust hospital in Queens first and they did not want to operate on me because it was too much of a high risk surgery and they sent me home and hoped for the best. Dr Rochman performed surgery on me at St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage Long Island, NY, he operated on me three times to save my life and he never gave up on me, even when the hospital decided I should go to hospice, he still insisted I can be saved and he did save my life. Everybody at St. Joseph's who knew about my case will say that Dr. Rochman saved your life and he would not give up on you. They say Dr. Rockman did what other surgeons were scared of doing, he operated on me and even when the recovery was very difficult he knew he could save me and he did it. He operated on me a total of six times, he preformed a jejunostomy proximal, jejunostomy distance, illeonostomy and colostomy, I had four tubes attached to my abdominal are all at once , I was relaly very sick, one by one He closed the ostomies and the las one was the colostomy that took little over a year to be closed. Dr. Rochman didn't even charge for the last two surgeries. This person is the best and kindest and caring human that God has placed on this earth, right now my eye are tearing for the gratitude to him. Today I had an appointment with Mr Stracher today at 11am. I came in at 10:20am and was seen…read more11:30am. This has to be one of the most horrific experiences for me in a doctors office. I don't as on a call with a friend when I was waiting to be seen. I had one ear bud in and I wasn't visible due to my hair. I finally get called into a private room where I then sit down to wait for the doctor to come in. The chair has my back facing the entry way of the door. Mr. Stracher then comes in after a few minutes waiting and rudely questions me asking me if im talking to myself with a very narcissistic tone. I then tell him that I am not talking to myself while I look at him in confusion. He then looks at me as if I'm lost and shouldn't be there for my appointment. He then beings to go back and forth with me when he never even introduced himself to me and explained anything. He didn't want to do his job and struck me as a very lazy combative doctor. He then tells me that I am a trespasser and that he's calling the police on me. Black people and black women DO NOT COME TO SEE THIS DOCTOR UNLESS YOU WANT HIM TO CALL THE POLICE ON YOU FOR SHOWING UP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. This visit has me emotionally distraught and I wish that on no one. I left this doctors office worst than when I came in! He's not a good person go see for yourself. When the cops came I told them what happened and they are just as shocked as I am.
