My son just graduated from Pre-Kindergarten at Williamsburg and has been going there since he was 3 months old. In his almost 6 years there I have never felt worried about him being there and felt completely comfortable leaving my baby there from day one. We had looked at several daycares prior to Williamsburg and as soon as we met the Director, Kathy, we knew that's where we wanted to take our son. I like how the rooms are broken down into age appropriate areas as your child grows throughout the center (Infant 1, Infant 2, Toddler 1, Toddler 2, Pre-School 1, Pre-School 2, and Pre-K). And there is a structure and curriculum in each room. We have always been impressed with our son's progress in learning the alphabet, numbers, writing, and now math and reading.  Also, compared to other centers we looked at; the price of tuition is very reasonable. Kathy, Ken and the entire staff are always welcoming and willing to help. I broke my foot in February and our son's classroom is downstairs on the lower level.  Someone from the front office would always take him down to his room for me in the mornings and go get him in the evenings; so I wouldn't have to manage the stairs with my crutches. Kathy even offered to just have me call inside the building when I pulled up and said she would come out to the vehicle to get him, so I wouldn't have to get out in the ice and snow. Once our son starts Kindergarten, I will be sad and miss the familiar faces at Williamsburg.  I don't think you will find a more caring daycare Director than Kathy at Williamsburg. read more

Our children have been attending Williamsburg Village Child Development Center for over 5 years, and we absolutely love it. We have three daughters and the individualized care and attention each of them receives is amazing! I feel like the center has gone above and beyond for us on several occasions, and supports our family. With Kathy, one of the owners, being a nurse practitioner, it has been such a convenience when we have any questions about any of our daughters' health. The various teachers are great with our kids, really care about their day to day activities and address any care or concern they have regarding our children. Academically, our children have excelled, and when our oldest started school she was way ahead of her peers. Most importantly of all, our kids enjoy the time the spend at Williamsburg Village Child Development center. read more

Williamsburg Village Child Development center is a wonderful daycare! We have enjoyed our time there tremendously! The staff is very friendly and very well at communicating! They have wonderful lesson plans and you can tell that they love and care for each of the children! The center is very clean, especially compared to other daycare centers around Lincoln. I pulled my child from my last daycare center due to the fact it was dirty and the staff was just plain horrible! I can say Williamsburg is the exact opposite! I am so glad I decided to make the switch and bring my child to Williamsburg! My child has learned so much and is very happy being at Williamsburg, I would definitely recommend the center to anyone! read more

Dr. Kathy Havlicek, worked with our family on a personal level. We moved to Lincoln from out of state and the staff at Williamsburg help our eight year old son adjust to his new life. He has spent one year here at Williamsburg, he has made a ton of friends and he loves going to Williamsburg even when school is out. Because of Dr. Kathy Havlicek's dedication to helping her kids, our son has grown astronomically in his performance at school and his attitude towards school. They took our son to school and back everyday and I never worried about his safety. They are very organized with transporting the kids and with their play time after school. read more

I appreciate all the staff at WVCDC. The owner Kathy is great! We have had nothing but a great experience there. They have gone above and beyond for us on several occasions. The owner is also a practicing pediatric APRN. She is more than willing to look into our daughters ears when we suspected ear infections. She also has recommended remedies for other issues that have popped up over the years. She is very knowledgeable and an excellent resource when it comes to kids! My 1st grader was more than prepared when she entered kindergarten. I definitely recommend. read more

We have been at Williamsburg for 4 years and have 2 children who absolutely love it. Our kids are always happy to go to daycare and love their teachers and friends. They learn new things daily and are constantly surprising us with great new skills. The owners have high expectations for their staff and the center as a whole. The teachers are wonderful, they incorporate gross motor, fine motor, language and sensory learning daily. It has the best playground of any center we looked at and an awesome park close by that my preschooler loves to go to. read more

We couldn't be happier at Williamsburg! Our kids LOVE it (they don't want to leave at the end of the day!). We really appreciate the consistency we have known with the same teachers, same schedule everyday, which is really nice, compared to another center we were at where there was a lot of teacher turnover. There's also no chaos here--great structure, great staff, another positive change from our other center. Our kids have thrived here. So happy to be a part of this great center! The daycare is simply amazing. Recently the business had been painted and it looks beautiful. I hope they continue to make updates. The new director and owners are amazing. If anything comes up the director is instantly taking care of what we need. The place is always clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful! Our son is so happy when we drop him off and the morning and almost doesn't want to leave at the end of the day! We highly recommend this center! :) read more

We LOVE Williamsburg! This is a wonderful childcare center with excellent, caring, dedicated, and wonderful teachers, staff, and office assistants! We couldn't be happier to have our 2 children at this center! We were at a different center before finding Williamsburg, so we're able to compare--Williamsburg is much better. Our family just left Williamsburg Village after 4+ years and my daughter sobbed all the way out the door. We only left because my youngest will be in Kindergarten next year and before/after care at the school is just more convenient for our family. WVCDC truly became a part of our family. I've been taking my child here for about 6 months now & we love it! Kathy, the owner, is also a nurse practitioner which is incredibly valuable to have on site. She knows all the children by name & is genuinely happy to see them. Mrs. Pam in the Preschool 2 room is an excellent teacher! We are so lucky to have her! I'm not sure what others are talking about when they say they've had a bad experience. I have been taking my child to Williamsburg for the past couple of years and have had a wonderful experience! The teachers do a great job with each child and you can tell they love and care for them. My child always comes home happy! I would recommend Williamsburg to anyone! read more
