I gave Scott my vehicle for a motor rebuild back in February 2021. It took 4 months just for Scott to take my motor to the shop to be rebuilt. This wasn't the issue, the issue, is that Scott LIED to me and claimed the motor was almost complete....BEFORE he had even taken it in for rebuild (I have screenshots for proof). To make matters worse, Scott likes to hang up on customers' faces when they hold him accountable for his lack of professionalism and timeliness. Since Scott was taking too long to get my motor built, I asked him kindly to give me the name of the company he went through. HE REFUSED to give me the information to the company who was building MY motor that i paid with MY money. All because he didn't want hos reputation toiled. I still foond tge motor shop and they have had my motor complete for about 2 months, yet Scott still hasnt picked it up to put back in my vehicle. The parking at his shop is exposed to the outside, so I have asked Scott to please make sure he keeps my vehicle clean. Instead, he TELLS me....the CUSTOMER, that its not even that big of a deal and that I shouldn't worry about it.... ***My vehicle, a 2006 Jeep SRT 8 6.1L Hemi.....that isn't manufactured anymore*** So meanwhile, my vehicle is sitting in his lot collecting spider webs and grass growing through the engine bay.... I have been without a vehicle, so call/text was my only way of contacting Scott, but he refused to answer my calls. I've had to call from other numbers just to get him to answer my calls. Scott also enjoys talking about other customers...TO CUSTOMERS and will go on a long tangent just to distract you from the very issue you came to talk about. They had replaced the refrigerant and I was good to go but if the A/C went out again to bring it back. On June 3rd, my A/C stopped working again so I took it back to them. When I arrived to drop it off I was wearing my Army PT shorts and the front desk lady came closer, looked me up and down and said: "Look at those legs! I'm glad it's warm outside and that's right, I got no shame." I'm glad my wife wasn't there, cause it would probably have gotten ugly. Anyone would feel flattered with a compliment, but that felt completely out of place and wrong. Now imagine the opposite, I'm the one behind the counter and say that to a lady coming in as a customer? Later on, Bob called me and explained the Condenser was bad and it would cost $775 to replace it. I told him I would have to wait to get it fixed. He charged me again $50 this time which to my surprise would not be counted against the $775 if I brought it back to them. I just got off the phone with Auto Zone and they have a brand new Condenser for $120 w/ lifetime warranty. Called another shop and they can replace it for a fraction of the cost. Best of luck to anyone bringing your vehicle there.

This company said it was his rear Calipers (brake). Really?!? They replaced the rear Calipers, with no consent, did not supply the damaged parts at the end, and charged him over $500.00! Guess what?!? Didn't fix the problem (imagine that!). My son had to take the car to another (honest) repair shop, which diagnosed the problem as the front rotors. Now, I know cars, so the front rotors sound are way more the likely culprit! I am 56 AND HAVE NEVER, EVER, HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR CALIPERS ON ANY VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. Buyer beware.

Reading reviews of other Deacon Jones dealerships, looks like this is the norm. I even asked what they were going to do to make me feel better about the deal...even a t-shirt or keychain but was denied and told "we don't do that". No pressure, no games, upfront pricing. I had already shopped financing options yet ended up financing through them as well with their competitive rates. Made a scenic 2hr trip down to test drive and hopefully purchase. They had all paperwork ready to go as promised, vehicle detailed, AND a full tank of gas! Again, no games! Sent me everything I asked for beforehand, and it was exactly as described over the phone and ready to go - no pushy upsells on options, etc. General Manager Thao was awesome to work with. I forgot to call my bank beforehand and let them know I was buying a vehicle, so the only delay was on me!
