The staff are very welcoming, and keep it very uplifting, and treat you like part of their team. Another best part is that everybody keeps it real, and helped me realize that I need to make an effort, and I'm in charge of my health and well-being. This is an amazing chiropractic office! Every chiropractor here pays such good attention to how I'm progressing. I came in a few months ago for mainly neck pain and back pain. Dr. Nix was so skilled in adjusting me that after consistent adjustments my pain went from 10/10 down to the 1-2/10. If you're in any kind of pain, have headaches, migraines, back pain, THIS IS THE BEST! Dr Nix and Dr Kali are amazing people and amazing doctors. Their staff is so friendly and helpful each appointment. I love this office and look forward to coming in! After experiencing what I thought was just a horrendous knot in my shoulder, my boyfriend suggested my spine might be out of alignment. Willow Creek Chiropractic is the same complex as a client of mine so I've seen how busy their office is and figured it was a great place to look into. On the phone they let me know how the initial health exam works, which includes an assessment and X-rays because they want to know exactly what is going on before Dr. Thomas starts making adjustments. What they discovered was going on in my neck, spine, hips, and a rib was shocking to me, and also made so much sense based on the symptoms I was experiencing. They recommended an extended treatment plan of regular adjustments combined with the rehab/physical therapy exercises done in their office as well as at home. For 15 years I have had some kind of back, neck, and arm pain. It got to the point I was thinking, "if this is how I feel at 40, what will 50, 60, 70 be like?!" It was a no-brainer for me to opt into the treatment plan and I am so grateful I did. There was noticeable difference after the first adjustment. It only took two weeks of treatment for me to feel my vitality returning and like I was getting my life back. It's now been 7 weeks and my whole life has changed. I wake up mostly free of pain and my body is holding the adjustments for longer periods of time, which the extended treatment plan is designed for. Dr. Thomas genuinely cares about the wellbeing of people and supporting their bodies in doing what they are naturally designed to do in all the ways. My immune systems is stronger and I feel healthier all around. As I learned more about body alignment I brought up a couple of other issues, with one of my knees and both my elbows, and he addressed them immediately. It was one of the scariest moments of my life. My wife was being rushed to the hospital with chest pains in an ambulance while my mom took care of our 3 month boy and 17 month old girl. We spent weeks after that going to doctors and all the tests confirmed that she was "healthy". In addition to the chest pains her forearms were often in excruciating pain. Doctors could only offer drugs and surgery. As a last resort we went to Dr. Thomas. Within weeks her chest pains were gone and her arms were back to normal. A few years later we found ourselves with a daughter who would constantly pee the bed and even herself while at school. It finally got to the point where she peed her bed every night for a week. She just couldn't sense when she needed to go potty. It was at that point that we brought her in to Dr. Thomas. And once again we experienced another miracle! In the first one to two weeks there was a very noticeable improvement and as time went on the problem slowly disappeared. It makes me so sad that this crucial part of our body is completely ignored in modern medicine's approach to healing and maintenance. The greed of the industry is deplorable. I didn't think I needed my back popped because I have always had a good back (but I would get a sore right knee after sports). When I was offered a free exam and x-rays I thought, "What do I have to loose?" Well it turns out that my exam and x-rays revealed some health concerns that needed to be addressed. I saw them at the "Safe kids fair" where they had a booth set up. At the fair they took my info and said they would give me a free massage (yay). They called and set up an appointment. I arrived and they wanted to take x-rays (ummmm ok...) Went back the next week they said I need their chiropractic services, and gave me an adjustment. Good news, they even checked with my insurance prior to service and said it would be covered (just pay a deductible). A few weeks later I got a bill from my insurance saying zero coverage. So I called my insurance company who confirmed that it isn't covered and told me that there hadn't been a call to verify coverage. Now I stand with no massage a bill and the feeling that they didn't provide what they said they would in the beginning, and lied about my insurance covering anything. Would I recommend them? I can't think of any good reasons Oh, I tried to call to make a payment to settle our unfinished business at the phone number listed here, it was forwarded to another phone number with a standard message. Now I feel like my time is being wasted. read more

Dr. Thomas is very rough and quick when it comes to giving adjustments. Nothing about the practice is calming or soothing or relaxing. He was the first chiropractor I had ever been to so I thought it was "normal" how fast-paced and impersonal he was with my body. I often left feeling more tense. While visiting my sister in CA I went to her chiropractor- They focused on 'calm' and even gave a 5 minute massage before hand to get the body relaxed and prepared for an 'adjustment'. I also think he is over priced, certainly more expensive than the other doctors I've seen since visiting him. read more

Dr Thomas is one of the best, his staff is great and knowledgeable. When ever I start to feel sick I go over there and instantly start feeling better. His philosophy that our bodies are better at healing itself than medicine really resonates with me. Why take a pill to numb the pain when you can get adjusted and fix the actual problem. There are a few reasons why I do not recommend this chiropractor. A little background. I brought my infant here for care because of her reflux. 1. The treatment wasn't successful. 2. Because of the open floor plan I was able to witness the chiropractor working on multiple patients without sanitizing or washing his hands in between. He then wanted to touch my baby who was two months old. This was during flu season. 3. He offered unsolicited advice about the perils of immunizations. When I said I had already made up my mind about whether to immunize my child, he continued with the topic. We all have opinions about things, but considering that he his a chiropractor and not an immunologist, his opinion was outside of the scope of his practice and outside of the reason I was seeking care for my child. And when I said I wasn't interested, he should have let it drop. It would have been fine with me if he brought up his opinion had I asked, but I didn't. 4. The rate this office charges isn't competitive with the rates of other chiropractors in the area. I was charged $55 per visit for essentially 5 minutes of treatment. I don't want to risk this review not being posted because of me mentioning another business. But the chiropractic office I sought help with after deciding not to return to this one charges less than $20 for infants and I feel offers a much higher standard of care. read more

Got hurt at work, came here. Pretty amazing.. I could barely stand upright. Doc let me lay on table for a while after he adjusted me. Then came and did it again. Know that if it's your first time at Island Body Works, you will have 4 pages of registration/information/disclosure to go through/sign before your appointment so arrive 10-15 minutes early.
