I'm sharing this experience years later (my visits were in 2020), but I think it's still relevant for anyone considering care here. During my time as a patient, my services were abruptly ended following an incident that left me feeling uncomfortable and confused. I was accused of taking and throwing away a billing document belonging to my brother, who had previously been a patient. I denied this, as I had no involvement with his paperwork. At the time, the office had Easter decorations and eggs placed around the front desk area, including near where the document had been sitting. It seemed very possible that it was accidentally moved or knocked down by someone else, but despite this, I was pulled mid-session into a private office and questioned about it. I was told the concern was about trust and patient information, and shortly after, my care was discontinued. While I understand the importance of privacy, the situation felt handled in a way that was uncomfortable and disproportionate, especially given the lack of clear evidence. Additionally, during X-rays taken that same visit, I was instructed to adjust my posture immediately before the images were captured, which made me uneasy and raised questions for me in hindsight about how imaging was being used. When I started my neck wouldn't turn. I was in severe pain. It hurt to sleep. My fingers in my left hand were starting to go numb. Eric and his team took my health seriously. They won't even touch you without an X-Ray, and explain step by step where your alignment and subluxations are in terms anyone can understand. 12 weeks later I feel better than ever, can move with ease, and there hasn't been any pain or numbness since it left in week 2. My mobility has me back rock climbing and power lifting. Eric is hilarious and will make you laugh while he gets you were you want to be. Jonathon, Rudy, and Nicole are angels and make you feel a part of the family as they take time to get to know you while they help you through the process. Can't recommend them any higher. I first went to Creekside Chiropractic in October 2020 as I was facing extreme back and neck pain. The pain was to the point where I was unable to function from day-to-day and barely able to sleep. I came in with ulnar nerve pain down both arms. To say it was an exhausting time prior to seeing Dr. Brown was and understatement. I discovered I have a straight neck which explains my nerve compression in my cervical spine and sleep issues from my spinal cord being stretched. That sleep issue was causing weird kind of anxiety (fight or flight) that I couldn't understand until seeing Dr. Brown. Who would have known?!? I've been going now for 20 treatments and my sleep is improving and I have less intense nerve pain. It was really sensitive before I started getting traction done. It shows up every once in a while when I'm using my arms to lift things, etc. but not nearly as bad at all as they had been. Having never seen a chiropractor before as a 38-year old was a brand new experience. The first few weeks were rough with a different kind of soreness from my bones and everything attached being slowly put back to where they should be. I do feel better after the visits and I am looking forward to every one because it is helping. Never thought I'd be this affected by having a straight neck and everything that can manifest from it. The atmosphere in this office is chill and it doesn't feel like that kind of boring atmosphere. The staff are nice and it's an environment where you can get great adjustments. Glad I found them. I needed the adjustments and happy I have more to come. I sometimes bring my kids with me and they just play with the wooden train sets and watch movies. Dr. Brown saved my back. After a sporting activity my back felt really out of alignment and it was quite painful. It didn't feel better several days later so I went to Creekside. Hadn't been there for 3 years so he took x-rays as he always does when he's not sure what he's working with. Turns out I had severe compression fracture in one of my vertebrae! A BROKEN BACK!. He is very thorough and transparent when explaining what is going on with your body & what he believes is the best treatment moving forward. Dr. Brown is a great chiropractor! I have been going to him for about 6 months and his treatment proves to resolve my problems every time. I have seen countless chiropractors for the last 10 years as I have struggled with an intense reverse curve in my neck. It has caused me severe stress and pain. Miracle worker!! I went to see Dr. Brown for a persistent neck and shoulder ache that medical doctors failed to diagnose. They told me it was a strained muscle every time I went to urgent care, they never ordered imaging and they sent me home to take some NSAIDs and Tylenol. The first thing Dr. Brown did was to take x-rays of my spine. He diagnosed multiple issues that were going on with it and based on my symptoms he told me that it was possible that I had a herniated disc. He suggested a light adjustment to relieve the pain. He told me if it got worse, it's more than likely that there was something wrong in the soft tissue and that I would need an MRI. The pain got worse after the adjustment and I spent the night at the ER, with more doctors telling me it's a "strained muscle", "Have you been stressed lately?", "Maybe it's fibromyalgia?". I basically had to beg them for steroids. Dr. Brown ordered an MRI and found out that I had a couple of herniated discs and a couple of bulging. One was very large. He followed up with me and explained what was going on thoroughly. He made me feel safe and heard. He urged me to book an appointment with a surgeon for a consultation before doing any alignment work. If it wasn't for him, nobody would diagnose what was wrong in my neck for many more painful months. He's amazing to work with and once my herniated discs are healed, I will work with him to fix the underlying issues causing them. Any doctor, chiropractor, or physical therapist I've ever had has pretty much told me the same thing; stop lifting so much. Then I met Eric, through the gym, no less. He understood that not lifting wasn't an option, and instead has been working with me on correcting the problem rather than just avoiding it. And now, after years of a back so bad it's put me through surgeries and tendonitis, I am finally moving the way I should, lifting the weights I want and just generally living better. Dr. Brown did an incredible job. I came in with lower back pain that had been making it difficult to keep up with daily activities. Dr. Brown was able to get rid of the pain completely. He also showed me how to read my X-ray so that I could fully understand what was wrong and what we were going to correct. I liked that he gave me a thorough introduction to his office so that I was comfortable with the practice and the open layout. He truly cares about getting the patient back on track and communicates with them every step of the way. He was open about my progress and the timeline to fix all of the reasons for my back pain. I'm now pain free and I've noticed my posture is much better too. It did take some time to fix some of my issues, but it was totally worth it since I can get back to hiking, biking, and going on road trips pain free.
