DO NOT GO HERE! My wife made appointment 3 weeks ago and today ( two day before here visit ) they called to tell use that they had no female doctors available and force my wife to see a man. When she said she would go her first visit to get here fmla leave approved they said they don't approved fmla leave on the first visit and said that they would not see her. The canceled the appointment and told here that they don't want here as a patient. read more

I have had a problem with my left ear for over a month. Went to my doctor a few times to figure out what was going on. So I got a referral to come here to get a CT scan on my ear. The lady I talked with and the one who did my scan her name was Kim. So what was nice is I came in to check in thinking I was going to need to fill out a bunch of paperwork but it was simple. The lady who checked me in asked me a few questions and I was off to get this test. Kim she was the sweetest lady she was very helpful with getting me ready and letting me know what to expect. The test only took about 10 minutes to do. Kim made sure that I was very comfortable and made sure I had warm blankets on me the whole time. Willow Creek did VERY wrong by me. Thanks to God (and me) my son was born healthy and strong. Thanks to WC, the delivery was an absolute horror show. I chose WC because they had a midwife (Scarlett Grandy) and are supposed to be non-interventional (hence the "NIBS" Non Interventional Birth Suite they lie about giving you). First of all, when I arrived, they made me stay in a regular room because their NIBS were all filled up. They transferred me to a NIBS later and it wasn't any different, just bigger. But the real kicker is, they gave me only TWELVE HOURS after my water broke before they pumped me so full of pitocin I was screaming in agony - and they did NOTHING to help.  In fact, they left me alone for the next 11 hours. The only one who kept coming in while I was suffering severely was the initial nurse, Brittany, a young girl, the one who started my pitocin in the first place. She started it at level 4 (supposed to start at 2) and when I told her it was too high she said no it isn't. I was having immediate horrible contractions like being shotgun blasted in the abdomen every 30 seconds, to where I couldn't even catch my breath for the next one. I said, "something is definitely wrong" and she LAUGHED at me. I asked them to lower it and they said once they start it they can't lower or change the dosage (totally incorrect). They continually refused to get Scarlett, my midwife, for me, or even Dr. Pierson, the backup doctor. My husband kept going out and asking for someone and they'd say "we'll get the message to them" and then nothing. They left me to die for all they cared. The facility that brags about how they are fully stocked with such amazing OB nurses and staff. Well, they were all MIA, I guess! Finally, in the 12th hour, at 9cm, Scarlett came up and brought the anesthesiologist and they gave me an epidural I probably didn't need, and definitely didn't want to have to have. My birth plan was for a NATURAL BIRTH, which is why I went there. Pitocin? Epidurals? Hardly non-interventional! But I agreed because at that point they were just wanting to make me comfortable, but again, I was almost at the end anyway. After the delivery they pressured me to cut the umbilical cord too soon. Oh, and then since it was my first baby, I didn't know how to get his latch right, and not a single person could help me out of all their wonderful, knowledgeable OB staff. None of the nurses, who were suddenly barging in every hour to annoy us. And none of the specialized Lactation Consultants. They all kept giving me stupid advice and breast pumps and donor milk. My baby was jaundice because he wasn't getting enough milk. Poor little boy :(. It wasn't until 2 weeks later and several billirubin tests and driving all over Arkansas buying donor milk that Scarlett finally told me how to get a good latch. It was smooth sailing after that, and 2 years later my boy is still nursing strong. I'm expecting again, and I wouldn't think to go to WC if it was the last place on Earth. I'd rather give birth alone in a barn than let those creeps get their hands on me again. Additionally, they forced a glucose test on me. That's not non-interventional either. I hope no one else has this experience. I feel like I should have sued them for pain and suffering. I did submit a complaint to the hospital listing all my rights that were violated based on the patient rights form. I never heard anything back from them. Maybe this review alerting others to their misdeeds will get their attention. read more

I have only had 2 appointments here. I like my doctor but she is always over an hour late. During my first visit she had a lab tech do a blood test for thyroid levels. The test results came back saying I had low T4 levels. I went to two other doctors to validate the results, but no other tests showed that I had low T4. The lab tech either preformed the test wrong, or carelessly reported incorrect results. During my second visit I told the nurse that I came in for a check up after switching birth control, she looked at me like I was crazy. The nurses are also IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of over the phone. After my thyroid tests, I couldn't get results for 3 weeks because no one was answering phones. I will be looking for a new gynecologist. read more

I had an outpatient testing done at Willow Creek this week and it was an awesome experience. From the time I walked into the building I was greeted with a smile. I was treated with compassion before, during, and after the testing! Their staff truly cares for their patients, and it shows through the care they give. I recommend Willow Creek and all their doctors to anyone in the NWA area. Between the staff, the doctors, and the facility Willow Creek is rated best in my book!! They called me at 8am today while I was already driving to my appointment so the call went to my voicemail. They told me my doctor does not work this early. I left 2 voicemails to which they never responded. I am not sure why they think it was okay to not return my calls. I also called last week to confirm and left multiple voicemails with no response as well. Why have me confirm my appointment yesterday to then call me last second and say oh sorry no appointment today? I lost income in my own private practice today because of this. I also had this appt due to having a recent miscarriage which has been more than difficult and it was my first pregnancy too so I am just left being confused and treated with zero compassion. I called another clinic who had me in for checkup bloodwork today and will see me next week around my busy private practice to discuss managing the miscarriage and other concerns. If I ran my own practice like this, I would have no patients. I am very upset and hurting enough. This experience with the women's clinic is uncalled for. read more

I had such an amazing experience from my ultrasound, visit with Dr. McCollum, to surgery and care by a great team of nurses. Dr. McCollum is so down to earth and made me feel instantly comfortable. The nurses - Misty in Pre Op, Kasey and Tera getting me ready for surgery - so awesome!! Thank you all so much for taking such great care of me and my family. read more

The staff was very kind and understanding of our situation. We went to a different Er earlier that day and were treated like objects to get out of the door. After being discharged the situation became worse and we chose to go somewhere else. We are thankful we chose to go to Willow Creek. read more

I had my last baby at Willow Creek Women's Hospital and comparing it to other hospitals in the area it exceeded my expectations. The experience was peaceful and I felt the nurses were very attentive. Worst medical clinic I've ever been to in the Arkansas area. It is impossible to reach an actual person like a receptionist or a nurse if you need to make an appointment or have medical questions. All calls are forwarded to a voice messaging system where they are ignored, I cannot believe the amount of calls and messages that were ignored by this facility. The communication between the nurses, lab techs and doctors is non existent and my husband and I received conflicting reports from the Willowcreek staff on multiple occasions- they are very understaffed, disorganized and unprofessional. I had a medical emergency and had to wait a whole week to see Dr. Pierson, who was only available 1 hour a week in advance. Instead, I called Parkhill womens clinic and was able to talk to a nurse and get an appointment with a doctor the same day. I switched all of my care and follow up with Parkhill in a matter of days, which would have taken weeks at Willowcreek. I wouldn't recommend Willow Creek to my worst enemy. read more

Stay far away from this hospital. Horrible nurses -- your birthing plan will not be respected here. Horrible administration. It's nearly impossible to get in touch with their billing department -- they don't answer the phone and don't return messages. And then, because you can't, they will send your bills to collections. read more

We had a great experience delivering our baby there in September 2019. Most of the nurses were wonderful. The two we had in labor and delivery were absolutely phenomenal. We got prompt responses whenever we hit the call button. The nurse practitioner came to see us over concerns about baby's weight dropping a little too much after birth and helped us come up with a game plan instead of just telling us we had to stay another night. The room-service-style food was awesome, surprisingly! read more

They failed to tell us that we had to pay $2,500 upfront, no big deal! We had our card, we paid. The RN who registered patients in the outpatient unit is beyond rude. She was born on 2/23, didn't bother asking her name. Erica was very kind and respectful, Maggie and Samantha were nice in recovery, Peggy was super nice during transitioning. It's that beast, rude lady who wanted to argue with me for asking a simple question. The appointment time was changed, the OR was very chaotic because they had an emergency. Recovery took for ever because the anesthesiologists was changed within 5 min of the procedure. The previous anesthesiologist said, she was going to give less dose of the medication to recover quickly. Well, the new one they changed within minutes probably had no idea, and extended recovery time to 6 hours. I had a horrible experience! The worst hospital in America. That 1 star is for the nurses who were kind. They messed up my previous appointment, had to wait for another week. They never called to mention that we would need to pay upfront, which if I didn't have my credit card with me would have postponed the procedure for another week. We ordered food, which took more than an hour and a half. I had to call them. They told me that it would have been quick, I could have went somewhere else to order food. Very disorganized! That lady raised my blood pressure, she should not be interacting with patients. I hate this place, hope I will never have to be back. read more
