My mother and I went to Heritage to set up her and my father's cremation plans. Everyone was so kind, caring, and helpful during the process. When my mom passed the staff who came to get mom were beyond compassionate and respectful. Also, when doing her obituary online, they were so accommodating and made sure my mother's wishes were met every step of the way. The entire staff made sure we were happy with absolutely everything. They also make you aware of everything they are doing along the way. By the end you felt like you were talking to friends who truly cared for your loved one. My wife's brother passed away expectedly recently, and she and her family were left to quickly make some very difficult decisions regarding what steps to take next. Throughout this very difficult process, the owner, John Falk, was extremely patient, kind, and understanding, as my wife and her family decided what they wanted to do. John made them feel at ease by answering all of their questions, and they never felt pressured into anything. On the day of the private viewing, John and his wife were incredibly supportive, while at the same time respecting the family's privacy. I can't say enough good things about Heritage. I spoke to John a year ago about my Mom..was 92 at that time. I was so comfortable with everything he explained to me. Aug 12th, 2 weeks ago, it was time to call Heritage again. Every person I spoke to made this situation barable. From honoring and making happen a couple requests from me to being so kind and respectful picking Mom up. When my brother died the morning after Thanksgiving, I had a difficult time finding any place that was either open or would call me back. Heritage Cremation Society was right there and answered all my questions and started the process right away. The process was somewhat complicated but they were always very nice and patient while I completed everything. However, the day I received his remains, they were in a very heavy box with a label upside down instead of the urn I paid for. That day was hard enough for me and that only made it worse. But, they were very nice on the phone and said they would mail me the urn. Although--the urn was going to be smaller than the total remains so I have to transfer the remains that will fit into the urn and then figure out what to do with the rest. It makes me sad. read more

I can't even begin to say how amazing this family run business is. From start to finish they were respectful, understanding, helpful and a huge stress relief. My wife and I had to fly in from the west coast and we only had a few days to handle my brother in law's remains. They came to us!
