She told us about the different stones they offer and what would be a good fit for our kitchen style. We settled on beautiful granite remnants at a great price. A couple hours later the owner himself showed up to take measurements and 5 business days later we received our countertops. We were very happy with the installation men who also had to make a few adjustments due to unleveled cabinets and we're so thankful for that. The entire job consisted of removing and erecting multiple walls and ceilings, removing and installing hard wood flooring in multiple rooms, installing pocket doors, relocating electrical fixtures, and painting (matching existing colors perfectly). All his work, cost estimates, and time projections were clearly listed in a well executed contract. No additional costs were incurred and the job was completed in the time frame listed. A definite plus! The cost of the project was approximately $13,000.00 and was started and completed in August of 2017. All work was professionally and skillfully performed. Paul's attention to detail was clearly evident in the finished product. We would highly recommend "Bath and Kitchen Guy" for any remodeling project you may have in mind. Initially, we…read morewere informed that this would be a collaborative project in which they worked with the owner of the home to ensure satisfaction so we were looking forward to working with the company. However, we noticed that accessories, and appliance like the bathtup, towel racks, lighting fixtures were mostly their "idea". When they were done, there was quite a bit of cleanup that we had to bring to their attention like messy grout under the vanity which looked awful and paint causing the door to stick. There was also a lot of cleanup we had to do as there was dust all over even though they told us we did not have to move anything "out of the way". Fast forward to June, I contacted them due to several nails popping out of the "new" ceiling and they informed me that the warranty on their work had expired but as "courtesy" they would fix this item. Important to note here here is that the nails were popping out of the ceiling initially when they began the work and this was brought to their attention to which they responded that they would "take care of it". Initial issues included hot water coming out of "cold" water faucet; installation of a vanity which may have been damaged as it seems crooked as installed and the door - to this day - does not close properly. Technically, it was the wrong vanity to replace the old one as it's too high as well. Based on our experience, they do not work as collaboratively as they should with the owners. We depended on their guidance as supposed "experts in the field". I would not recommend them for bathroom remodeling.

He was early to the appointment, and ended up spending about 3 hours walking us through the home. Doug also practiced good COVID safety. We were asked to limit the size of our party to ensure social distancing, and Doug wore a mask throughout the appointment. During the inspection, Doug showed a keen eye for details; he offered clear and detailed explanations; and he was patient and kind throughout. After identifying potential trouble spots, he always took the time to contextualize those issues and offer insight on potential fixes and costs. But I think characterizing this service as an inspection really sells Doug short. Indeed, by the end of our three hours with him, Doug had given us what amounted to a personalized user's manual of our future home, explaining the anatomy of the house and how things worked. As first-time home buyers, we appreciated that Doug always met us on our level -- graciously answering even our most novice questions with warmth, clarity, and detail. The written report, along with a pre-closing checklist and other materials, were delivered about two days after the inspection. We ended the inspection more confident in our understanding of our potential purchase -- and in our ability to repair or manage any future issues. We can't speak highly enough of the quality and value of Doug's work, and he would be our first call for any future inspections.

After having him come back to touch up the imperfections and hearing excuses and shifting blame on pre-existing imperfections or contractors not prepping properly, we knew we weren't going to achieve the level of work we wanted. Ultimately, we paid him the balance owed. However, we asked him for a quote for the rest of the house to compare rates and gladly hired another painter to fix and repaint almost every wall (absent ceilings). We are now very happy with our current painter. This only proves that we weren't the only one seeing the imperfections. We received higher quality work for a more competitive price.
