They made her sign a paper stating when the child would be dropped off/ picked up even though her work schedule was variable weekly ... and they knew that. If she arrived later than the time they made her state then they wouldn't allowy grandson to attend that day.,. Even though they received full time tuition. I quickly leadned that they did that to observe only necessary teacher - student ratios to pay the least hourly teacher wages possible. Also, many times at the end of the day, your child would be in another classroom because they had already sent your child's classroom teacher home and put them with another teacher until uou arrived .... Also to save them money. Management seems nice but is not transparent at ALL. Be wary. Get what you pay for and be sure to ask about full time tuition and open hours . Bonus : They also like to send kids home for any health reason they can imagine.

I can honestly say that I am beyond grateful for the family we have found at La Petite. The staff and teachers care. They love my daughter, they nurture her, they are shaping her to be a wonderful human during some of the most important developmental years of her life. It brings me joy to know that when she's not with me I can rest assured that she is still being loved and cared for by people who want to see her be happy and succeed in life. This place is an extension of home. I will be forever in their debt for helping me raise such a great kid.

So much that my child spent 4 great years at Owlets and we all cried a bit when we moved out of state and had to leave. I can't say enough about the warm, family-like environment. Teachers and classmates became a second family for my child, and families were really encouraged to get to know each other through events and gatherings. It felt like Owlets was a support system even outside of school hours. We loved the balance between structure and free play and really felt like Little Owlets prepared my daughter very well socially and knowledge-wise for kindergarten - the transition to elementary school was a breeze. My child LOVED the Montessori-inspired activity time and still talks about it. And there were so many creative and fun activities - cooking, yoga....We loved that outdoor time was emphasized in all but the worst weather and the kids got in quality outside play and exercise time. Oh, and the food was so good - I found myself envious of my child's lunches.

That was the first thing on my list when I was searching for a childcare for my son. CHECK! I personally observed the providers and how they take care of my child and other children. Happy to put another CHECK right here! Aliya and Lola are very patient and nurturing. They have plenty of teaching materials and incorporate lessons into play every day. The 'Little Owlets" is my number one choice in the area! Oh, almost forgot - the food is all homemade and very delicious! I asked to try :)

The teachers who are friends with them get special treatment. They made me clock out early when we were in ratio but would let their favorite teachers stay for over an hour in the office talking about weekend plans and laughing and didn't clock out until their normal time to leave. This happened almost everyday. I was even told to clock out to walk 50 ft to my car to get my lunch out of the car. It's like a big joke to them. They try to make you feel worthless and want you to kiss their a$$. There was a time when a new girl started. She was from another country with a strong accent. She would tell me that the teachers in her classroom and beside her classroom would make fun of her and talk bad about her right in front of her. She told management and they did nothing because the ones who were bullying her were their friends. Management could care less what any teachers have to say. They sit on Facebook all day and shop on Amazon when they aren't ordering takeout and leaving work to get their hair done and other things they shouldn't be doing. My boyfriend got in a work accident on my break. They said they think he fractured his skull. I told the management and they laughed and said "ew!" In my face. Every teacher in The building complains about them and their lack of management abilities. The management are nasty mean and childish. On a good note, the teachers are wonderful with the kids.

Then, when I learned how reasonable the rate was and everything that was included, another huge hurdle was lifted. That's exactly what Lil' Feet Daycare did for our family, and I am incredibly grateful we found this wonderful family-run, in-home daycare! My son started with Becky when he was just over a year old, and from the beginning I knew he would be loved and cared for. Becky has been there through so many milestones, helping with potty training, encouraging his independence, celebrating his accomplishments, and embracing his unique little personality every day. She truly loves these children as if they were her own. The daycare is warm, clean, and beautifully organized, with dedicated spaces for learning, eating, napping, and imaginative play. There are endless toys, books, crafts, and activities that spark creativity, along with a spacious backyard where the kids can run, explore, play, and enjoy the garden. Knowing my son is in a safe environment gives me incredible peace of mind. Every family caregiver is certified in child CPR, and Becky continually invests in additional training and certifications because providing exceptional care truly matters to her. She also provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks, communicates consistently, gives plenty of notice for planned closures, and has always been dependable and accommodating whenever possible. As a busy working parent, those things make such a difference. The greatest gift Lil' Feet has given me is knowing my son is safe, happy, learning, laughing, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about him. He has made such wonderful little friends as well. Becky and her family have become such a meaningful part of our lives, and I will always be grateful for the love and support they've given us. If you're looking for childcare in the Frederick area, I truly can't recommend Lil' Feet Daycare enough!!!

We were able to secure spots for both of the little ones; it has been great! It's so good to know my two children get the care and attention they need while getting to spend the day together as well. I can tell my now toddler has been able to learn from being with a range of ages in many areas including speech and friendship. Lil' Feet is consistent with their policies. If I ever need to brush up on a policy or have questions, I can refer to the policy we signed during the enrollment and it's very clear. We are so grateful to have found this daycare and plan to continue this healthy, loving partnership. Thank you!
