The people who run the house are super nice. You can see the ocean from certain rooms and the free breakfast was yummy and too much to eat.

Arrived late in Yarmouth and stayed here out of desperation. What a mistake. It is not a place for people on business or families. The motto at the side of the front door.Arrive a stranger, leave a friend just does not add up. Sorry Helm House I won't stay with you again.

I was amazed when we were shown to our family room because of the layout. The double bed is in one part of the room with its own facilities and the single bed was through another door within the room providing my daughter and both myself and my partner the privacy we all need. The location was perfect for us, everything was within walking distance. The beach, the main shopping center, regent road and much more. We loved it that much that we stayed in the summer of 2013, we stayed over the Christmas holidays and we have already booked to stay this summer of 2014. The new management have done wonders with the place and really are friendly down to earth people. I would and have defiantly recommended this guest house.

The ensuite bathroom was small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. The room also had a well-stocked fridge with drinks and snacks, coffee & tea-making facilities and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. They serve good hearty breakfasts in a pleasant dining room, and it's all maintained by hospitable and friendly - but not overbearing - hosts. I'd recommend Beaumont House without hesitation.

The homemade chips were a little greasy, as they had been fried, but they tasted good! It is situated on the seafront, near the pier. There is ample parking outside if you arrive after 6pm, but there are restrictions before that time. We were able to eat our food looking over the sea, which was really nice on a sunny end-of-summer evening. We didn't feel rushed, so spent a very nice evening chatting, drinking, and eating. I would definitely recommend this for a relaxing evening with friends.

Superb breakfast from fresh products. Our room was Crab Apple which is in fact a cottage with a yard. There are special boots to walk near a lake and the surrounding muddy area. The Crab Apple is very comfortable to be in. The bedroom and the double bed are both large. There is a modern shower which is also great. Everything is of course clean and cosy. Few comments: there was a plumbing problem and our cottage was freezing cold and it took 3-4 hours to heat it (no gas heating but electric ones). This hotel is 4 stars but feels like 5 stars in all other aspects. The staff are very friendly and helpful

The adorable smart greeter was sufficient on all levels. Our room was on the small side...but adorably romantic. Dinner was a great success! I had the salmon starter with cucumber jelly. I forced myself to slow down and enjoy the moment. Simply exquisite. My sea trout was perfection. My husband and I both had dessert, we couldn't decide on just one. Again 5 star moment. I normally do not go on so much for a restaurant but this place deserves all the praise! Visit this establishment for dinner to stay the night or just a cup of tea. You will not be disappointed.

Sundowner Holiday Park is one of the best sites that I have been to on Hemsby having been there 4…read moretimes this was the first time that I've been on this site which I was there on August 1st 2009. The site has both chalets and caravans a lot of the chalets are privately owned which their is some people who live on the site. The site is actually a nice place the cars must be parked in the car park area and not on the grass your car can be trusted on the site. In the chalets you get what you normally get with the chalet in ours was 1 king size bed and 2 medium sized beds, it had a little kitchen along with the toilet and bathroom. The front room had a TV but we couldn't get channel 5 as the Hemsby area has problems getting that channel. On site is a launderette it's not that big but it's a decent size. Around the site are 3 arcades with people who are friendly and always happy to help. A cafe is located on the site called the Holiday Diner which was an American themed restaurant which I never went in their though. There's a store which is open early in the morning till 6pm which sells loads of different stuff. It has a pub and club near the Sundowner park it also shows Sky Sports in the bar a pint costs £1.50 there. The Hemsby site is not that far from Sundowner Park it's just a walk down a path which has a funfair, more arcades, gift stores and a nice cafe near the beach. The Sundowner Holiday Park is a nice area it's peaceful and has some nice people around the area. The site is actually located on the Newport site of Hemsby if your staying at Great Yarmouth on Holiday then this site is worth staying at it's nice, clean and tidy. Great Yarmouth is about 8 mile away from Hemsby if you don't feel like driving there is always the bus which comes around regularly.

The breakfast was nice and there were a few good options on the menu. The hotel is clad in wood and history. We were adjacent to "the Harry Potter room", which was what we called this tucked away, sort of hidden reception haall that was stunning. The location is a block or two from city center (excellent yet quiet), and the service was very prompt. No complaints at all other than it was a bit expensive for the value, but hey - it was vacation and I would return tomorrow if I could!

Absolutely aghast, I finished my cocktail and went back to the car thinking how sad it was that I wouldn't be trying their menu. I would expect a snotty attitude from a thick glasses wearing hipster in New York, but I was surprised to find it in Norwich. Not recommended.
