After I sent an email to the company a woman named Renee from HR called and said she would handle everything. Fast forward 6 and a half MONTHS and the plaque HAS STILL NOT BEEN ORDERE!! Lakewood Memorial you need to DO BETTER!! You claim you stand with families? YOU DO NOT! My stepfather has been gone for 6 MONTHS you've been paid IN FULL and the plaque for his niche has NOT EVEN been ordered. We have been LIED to for MONTHS by your sales rep and then Renee in HR! Enough is enough!

Dewayne Gravley took great care of us and walked us through every step of my grandmother's funeral. The other staff members helped us with her obituary and ensuring that her slide show video came out well. They dealt with our several song changes for the service with a smile. At one point, we were missing a flower arrangement from the florist and Dewayne even offered to call and ask them about it for me, so I could spend more time with my family during such a difficult time. My grandfather was having an extremely hard time with the loss of his wife of almost 52 years, so they allowed him to come every morning at 8:30 until they had to close at 8:00. They even had a pot of coffee on waiting for him. I just cannot express enough how kind they were here and how well we were taken care of. We will definitely be using them in the future. Just hopefully not for a while. :) BTW: they are pet friendly!

As we finalized the arrangements following his…read moredeath a balance of $87 was due. when we gave Jenna Picou the credit card she proceeded to charge $1505, which was the full amount of the finalized arrangements. she immediately said "oops I charged you the full amount." then we were told the refund cannot be issued until the cremation center receives the proceeds from the prepaid insurance which she sold him and for which the cremation center is the beneficiary of. Absolute fraud! Still waiting on a refund. Stay away from this place.
