His contract was all wrong and just downloaded from the internet -- most didn't even apply to us. It was also open-ended so we really would have been screwed had we signed it with him having no expense cap on how much he would charge us. But from $400,000 to over one miliion for a 1700 s.f. home is a total rip off. I could live in a mansion for a million dollars. He does not return phone calls and has more excuses as to why he can't get a job completed in a timely manner that I could write a book. Stay far, far away from this Cowboy contractor......if he even IS a contractor (I asked for his license and got no reply). He will take you to the cleaners and you'll have no home, no money and nobody to complete his mess. He won't even return our plans we paid for to us, but he sure enough charged us double the price for them. Definitely not a man of integrity.
