At no point during that conversation was it mentioned that the cost would increase significantly, yet there was no problem telling me they found another problem that needed fixed. When I went to pick up my car, I was shocked to find the total was over $1,800. That's a major increase that should have been clearly communicated beforehand. If I had been informed, I could have decided whether to move forward with the repair. Instead, I was put in a position where I had no choice but to pay in order to get my car back. On top of that, after looking up the cost of the parts, it appears they mark them up by at least 40%. Proceed with caution. People don't write bad reviews for absolutely no reason.

The A/C in our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe never worked correctly after a front-end accident. Vehicle…read morewas returned to the body shop that did the initial repairs, but never got the A/C fixed. Hyundai service basically wanted to replace the entire unit to the tune of about $4K. Asked Tim and Wayne of Saville's to have a look to see if they could figure it out. After determining system was fully charged and not leaking, they diagnosed that it was a bad blower resistor. After a run-around from the Hyundai dealer in getting the resistor, Wayne found another source for the part. They installed and the A/C has been working perfectly for the past month...and the bill was less than $1K! These guys have gotten an A+ from me in the past for not only their knowledge, but more importantly my trust in their work and guidance. They've never given me any indication that they're feeding me a line of BS or trying to upsell me, and they always keep me in the loop with anything they encounter. They've definitely earned my future business and my highest recommendation!

I wouldn't have had to pay a real mechanic $90 to do what he could have done.... give the car a few minutes to run. Instead he tried to high pressure me into a new battery (that a AAA contractor had installed just over a year ago), then tried to scare me with mis- information about what it would do to my alternator if I didn't buy a battery now. I had just told him I was going to call for a tow and have it taken to a shop for evaluation. Common sense told me he was lying... and he patronized me. He lied to me, tried to cheat me and scare me. I have reported this company to AAA, but frankly, almost every battery/tire contractor for AAA is the same.
