We scheduled Wilmington, NC area Window Ninjas to power wash our whole house and clean the windows inside and out. Kyle and Josh showed up on time, got right to work and worked tirelessly on a hot day. I wish I had before and after pictures because the results are striking. Our white porch shines, the brick steps look new, the gutters are spotless, and the windows are sparkling. I am amazed at the difference. We had never hired the work out before. Website Claim = "...Meticulous Window Cleaning..." Our Results = Clean Glass / Filthy Sills / Reversed & Unsecured Screens Another website claim = "unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction". Our experience = Empty claim - unsatisfactory delivery all around. When workers arrived I requested they tell me if any of the plastic clips holding the screens are broken, as screens rattle in the wind if they are not secured in their tracks. They did NOT tell me many clips were broken, but the good clips were still not secured - sloppy job all around. After calling to complain about the issues - another worker came out to reverse the wrongly installed screens and told us the Sill cleaning was an Add-On task, while manager's email stated it was part of the job. Who can you believe ? NEVER AGAIN. read more

I scheduled a low pressure wash on our vinyl siding house and screened in porch through window ninjas. I thought their quote seemed high but agreed because last year my neighbor used them and they were very pleased with the results. Unfortunately, come to find out they have change vendors who sell them their chemical cleaning products and the difference is obvious. I could've cleaned my screened in porch with a good old scrub brush and Dawn soap better than they were able to. We also have a small 6 x 8 cement landing in front of our front door which apparently is not included in pressure washing the house. That was an extra $80. Gary & Joe did a fantastic job of cleaning our windows and power washing! They were here promptly and got right to the job. They removed and cleaned the screens . When they finished power washing the house and lanai, they put the screens back in. They were very personable and polite. It's rare that you get great service and at a favorable price! read more

Frustrating!! Scheduled an appointment but when they came it was only one person. They were not able to finish because they said someone called in sick or didn't show. They had to come back to do the windows and around the pool area. AGAIN only one person and weren't able to finish. I ended up doing the pool area myself! Also I had asked what they did last year (which was MUCH MORE than what they did this year) and my bill ended up $500 more!!! Called because they had charged me almost $ to do our porch furniture which was not much and again, this was included in our service last year as well. I have not heard back from them since they were going to check out why this was. Very disappointed! read more

We hired Window Ninjas to clean our windows. The technicians could not finish because of rain. When they came back, there was a discrepancy about which windows still needed to be done. They missed some, then went outside to do them, but they are still not clean. I pointed out some windows and they said they cleaned them. After they left, I took a paper towel and rubbed spots off of 5 different windows on the inside with a ladder. The technicians seemed rushed...they didn't take their time to finish the job completely. We still have windows on the outside that have dirty spots. (which I pointed out were not clean) read more

NEVER EVER use Window Ninjas! I got an estimate from Window Ninjas to clean my fence so that I could re-stain it. They told me that they also stained fences and I hired them to do both. They spray stained my fence and got stain all over my bricks on my home. I asked them to clean it off the day they stained my bricks, but they said they would come back to clean it off. It took them 3 months to clean it off my bricks. I paid them the day they cleaned off the stain from my bricks, and they complained that I took too long to pay. A year later, I asked them for an estimate to wash my windows. They said I would have to prepay them to do any work. Expect Window Ninjas to do a poor job and you will be expected to pay immediately for it anyway. BTW, I hired another company to clean my windows and never will call Window Ninjas again. read more

We had our house and cabana pressure washed to remove an accumulation of mildew which had been neglected by the previous owners. The outside trim needed to be painted and I wanted the mildew treated before painting. I was very concerned that the black mildew around the windows and outside columns would not be removed, but I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased. Now I can paint the outside trim, columns, and siding with the assurance that my painting will not be affected. Living in this humid and salt environment, it's essential the exterior house surfaces be power washed and chemically treated annually. We will definitely call Ninja's next spring. Besides that, they sent us their "A" team, Tyler and Gary, who were very courteous and very professional. read more

Horrible to deal with. They no-showed the first time. Second time they came out and did an awful job, using a pole to clean windows on the first and second floors. They beat the windows so badly they popped the seal on 4 of them. Their manager Preston came out to inspect and agreed that a bad job was done. He promised to speak with Gabe, the owner, and figure out how to compensate us for the damaged windows and get the windows cleaned properly. He quit the next day so nothing happened. They agreed not to charge us until they came back to correct the work. Window Ninjas agreed to come back and re-do the job, using the pole for only the second floor windows. (They don't use ladders anymore) I have video of them using the pole on the first floor windows. One guy went up on our roof but was on his phone just standing around for the 45 minutes they were here. Windows are no cleaner, and they won't return our phone calls. They did charge our card even though we made it clear the windows were NOT clean. For our own sanity we gave up and took the hit. Trying to get anywhere with these folks is not worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Window Ninjas. We used these guys for years with no problems but something has gone really wrong with this business. read more

We paid Window Ninjas $325 to clean our windows inside and out. They washed all the windows but if a spot didn't come out on the first pass, they left it. I spoke with the manager, he came out to take a look and agreed to send a crew out to try again. He told me the outside of my windows might need an additional treatment to get all the spots off and quoted me a price of $7 a window. It took a few weeks but Window Ninjas came out again, charged us an additional $285! and my windows are dirtier than they were before. I hired Window Ninjas twice more in the last 5 years to clean my windows. The first 2 times, they did a great job. This time was a mess. I won't use them again. read more

I left a message on a Saturday morning and did not expect to hear from anyone until Monday...understandably so. Well, 45 minutes later I had an appointment scheduled. We used this service for a large home and had several issues including damage and loss of screens which was never remedied despite several phone calls. The new management offered to give us half off our next full cleaning but two days before the scheduled cleaning they canceled and said they were only available to do it at full price. I had only agreed to their offer to be fair and to give them a second chance so I'm not sure why they thought it would be appropriate to cancel at the last minute (unless we paid full price). After the experience we had there was not a chance we would use them again and it turns out I should have just stuck with that decision in the first place. I understand that accidents happen and no business is perfect all the time, however: when given the opportunity to right a wrong it is always in the best interest of the business and the customer to follow through with such an offer. I really hate giving businesses less than 3 stars. Trust me, I gave these guys multiple chances to get it right. Disappointing. Edit: They were called Window Gang when the issues arose. They changed their name to Window Ninjas and said they would use our home for a Saturday staff training. This is 100% the same business. read more

Showed up a bit later than expected and poor guy was alone. His window washing partner called in sick. Needless to say it was pretty dark when he finished. The next morning when the sun came up it was apparent he didn't clean the front windows very well. Lots of streaks and missed grime. I called the office and they apologized and sent a crew out the following day. Two guys re washed all the windows. They were very polite and finished the job in a timely manner. I still have missed spots on the second floor windows and paint drops (which I paid extra to remove) still on the windows. I won't be using them again. Recommended by a fellow homeowner. read more

We had an appointment today for pressure washing our house and pump house. When I scheduled the appointment I was told they would be here at 1:00 and instead of the $335 I normally pay it would cost $375 due to price increases. I said that was fine and booked the appointment. I had to give them a credit card number to book the appointment which is something I never had to do when the company was called Window Gang. I got a call today saying that they were going to be late because it took longer on the job they were on before coming to my house. I told the lady that was fine and they came about 2:00. When they got here they told me that they wouldn't be cleaning my brick steps on the front porch because that was a high pressure wash and they were doing a low pressure wash on the house. The technician said if I wanted the steps washed it would be an additional charge. I told the technician that we would just pressure wash them ourselves since we have a small electric pressure washer. The technicians then proceeded to wash our home. Our house is a one and a half story home with hardiplank siding. About an hour later the technician came to the door and said they were finished with the job. I looked at our back deck and saw that it was still dirty and still had the pollen built up on it so I asked the technician to go over it again. The technician looked at it and told me that cleaning our back deck was not included in the $375 and that if I wanted it cleaned it would be another additional charge. I informed the technician that before when we had the company out to do the job our porch and deck was included in the price. I informed him that I wasn't paying them any more money and that I was very unhappy and upset with the company and that if they had told me that there was going to be additional charges for doing my porch, steps and back deck I would have never hired them to do the job. When the company was Window Gang they went above and beyond to do a good job and would even pressure wash my rocking chairs. I don't know what has happened to the company now but I will NEVER hire them again because it was a WASTE of money since I have to go behind them and clean what they didn't do. I feel sure if this is how the company is going to operate from now on they will be losing a lot of customers. The company representatives alway say "Keep Shining" and "Expect To Be Wowed". I'm wowed alright at the crappy job and service I was given. It's hard for your home to shine when it's still covered in dirt and pollen. Karen W. read more
