Window works did a wonderful job with installing our new windows. The guys that came out were great, on time and thorough. We are very happy with the way they look. Only con I had with this company is the scheduling is an absolute mess but other than that they are lovely people to work with and they do great work. Would still recommend.

Torn up siding and exposed insulation is what I was left with by contractor.

After calling some of the big names (Anderson being one of them) who told me my job was too small, I finally got hold of CRS Exteriors. They immediately scheduled a person to come to my home and give me an estimate. Alan Keck, the company owner, responded, measured and gave me a set quote for a fully life warranted window. I signed the contract and he ordered the window (all of which are custom made by the Amish in Ohio. Two months later, the window had been constructed and sent to CRS. Today, Tyler and Jordan, two of the installers, came out, removed the old window and installed the new in about 2 hours. They were courteous, respectful of my home, did a great job and left only after they had vacuumed up every last piece of detritus. I am impressed, totally satisfied and would eagerly recommend CRS for any exterior need.

The patio doors ($22,000) were delivered five months later with the wrong trim, last month. Tried to reach out to our sales representative Chris Grendel's (865) 308-1961, but he hadn't set up his voicemail box. Let me remind you this is Pella, allegedly the A++ folks in the business. I reached out to Doug Jackson, our sales representative who oversaw the installation of our windows. He actually took out call and committed to pre-Thanksgiving installation. Now not sot much. I'd still still give a five star review of Pella in Chicago, here not so much. Let me say., installers are great, sales representatives and office staff not so much. How do you give a telephone number in your sales contract that doesn't have a voicemail activated - Chris Grenfell? Beware Chris Grenfell, no follow through - No availability. Stay clear. Would give zero if possible. 11/18/22 Update Just got a call that an installer would be to my house late Wednesday afternoon. So maybe?

The receptionist intentionally screens phone calls and does not return messages. Figured out the only way to get through to the office receptionist was by calling corporate and having them patch me through - this way she couldn't see the caller ID with my number. When I finally got in touch with a manager, he promised to personally keep an eye on my order and said he would call me on a specific date when product was supposed to ship. He didn't call and so 2 days later I called him and left him a voicemail but again received no call back. Finally just went through to corporate office every time I needed to get information. Perhaps the product delays (10 weeks) was excusable with COVID but the extreme lack of customer service and communication is 100% inexcusable. These locations are apparently independently owned and operated so if you want pella products I would highly recommend going through a different retailer for your order.
