The installers were at our house for nearly 12 hours on a March day. They finished around 10pm in dark and the cold. The installers are the only 5 star review I will give. They had to cut the frame to install the sliding door and did a great job keeping our house clean and putting the frame back in the door. My husband and I are both unhappy with the look of the front door. It does not look like the computer rendering. Had we been able to see this door in person, we never would have chosen it. The frame around the door windows sticks out too far and looks obtrusive. Every nail head is visible. This is a very expensive door but looks cheap. The door we were shown was sleek looking with windows being flush with the door, there were no protruding frames on the computer rendering. I completed a customer service survey and asked for someone to read out to me and spoke to Stephen Burke, or sales rep and never heard back from anyone. I would not recommend using Stephen Burke and he is unresponsive after he makes his sale. This was an expensive project. We chose Renewal by Andersen because we thought they were a reputable company with high quality products and good customer service. Unfortunately, that is not our experience. I would like to reiterate that we are happy with the sliding door and that our install team was excellent. Had Renewal tried to contact us and listen to our concerns and offer some solution, I would not be writing this review. It's a shame that some large companies feel they can ignore their customers.

My first payment is due today. If I make the payment I'm afraid they will then say "Well, you make a payment at 8.99% interest so it's locked in and we can't change it now." The main reason why I went with Pella is because they completely removed the old windows (original to the house, 50 year old aluminum windows) to install the new ones. The men who worked on the house were wonderful, kind, and cleaned up well after each day. I can already tell that this winter is going to be much better and more cozy with the new windows. :) Pella also replaced the trim and it is beautiful work. I'm very pleased and impressed. They did make a mistake when ordering the kitchen window - somehow the wrong size got ordered and delivered. But mistakes happen to everybody and it was handled professionally.

Ended up one guy, everyone else gone. Poor communication. One day I am told "tomorrow, final demo and dry fitting cement board. Didn't happen. There was another day of demo and some incorrect dry fitting. This is the point at which I said no more. What really sent me over the edge was they turned my water off on Wednesday and I advised multiple times I had an appointment and needed to leave by 230. The owner was supposed to come back before I.Left and turned the water back on. He texted me at two twenty seven and said he was about twenty minutes away. I was so mad and I had to go, so I did if they were. Said he'd come back that night later from Bloomington. I guess and turn the water back on, but I said, forget it. I tried to do it myself, and I couldn't, so I spent a night without water. It is so disrespectful, in my opinion to tell somebody. You will be there before they leave. But then don't be there, and they end up having a night without any water. I had new flooring company come out who said as they looked in the bathroom that they had broken my plumbing pipe.Now I have to have that replaced and have a drywall person in to fix that. I asked for a refund of the unspent.Amount I had paid up front. The owner is giving me the run. Around and now he won't respond at all. I have a lot of texts that show everything i'm saying, if anybody wants to see them. The owner told me that I have very unrealistic expectations. That could be true. But when the new flooring guys told me what it would take to fix the problems this company caused, it's less time than these guys already spent here. One of the workers for this company also told me that the they have been working on a job in Champaign for a month and a half, and they're nowhere near done. That's unverified by me. But now I have to sue this guy to get my money back. Also to get money for the plumbing that they damaged.And the drywall repair, which is another three hundred and fifty dollars. Beware. The values you read on their website which say what they are committed to are absolutely untrue, as it relates to my experience with them.

Mike and the install crew were all very professional. Brandon worked with me to get soffits as part of the package. Having the roofing and soffits blend nicely together was made easier by using their online tool which I also highly recommend. Quality installation and was a good value all around.
