Requested help with a mouse problem. The pest people were scheduled and showed up, but all they did was walk in to the kitchen to leave a piece of paper and then left. They were in the apartment less than 30 secs. read more

We lived here for three + years. All was great until the flooding from top floor apartment. Only covered with paint. Left mold in my son's room, hallway, bathroom, front hall closet. As well as not replacing carpet, which also left mold under it. Had to live in these conditions for a year more. Within 3 + year period. Charging us extra. Not paying it due to paying last month rent/deposit was paid to them which should have covered. Said it was covered till after a month or two later once moved out. Never again will I recommend anyone to windsail or case and associates for that matter. Won't let me post pictures but got them and videos. read more

Been living here close to a year. Experience here is great and easy. Great people in the office such as Casey, Elena, and Chuck. I also met a guy working there. His name is Willy. Awesome guy he keeps the apartments outside really clean. When we had some snow days occurred. He shoveled all the snow to ensure all of the residents were safe. If I could give zero, I would! If you enjoy being babysat like a kindergartener and have a surprise fee note on your door every time you come home, then come live here! The office is full of rude people that think the apt is the Ritz and it's falling apart! They have mice that have chewed cords on all my vacuums, carpet shampooer and hairdryer! They also have neighborhood spies to keep those fees coming! I have never lived in an apartment where I hated coming home and the office does not care or listen. I was in danger and had people that I needed removed and they did not care but, it was very important that I not have a blanket drying on my balcony, and they contacted me real fast for that important crap! Do not waste your money or peace here!! read more

The office staff is incredible. I just moved in, and the area is great. You can hear the highway a bit from, not overbearing though. Parking is easy. It's a small complex which makes it great so it's not crowded. The floor plans are nice! The floors do creak a bit and they are a little outdated on household appliances, but overall, very happy to be here for a great price and great staff!! Case & Associates always rock. ***i did notice the other review on this apartment & that person seems to just be upset. Do not let it deter you, this place is awesome. Take a tour and speak to the staff and I HIGHLY doubt you choose elsewhere. read more

My husband and I have lived here for 4 years, and omg...do not move here unless you like crappy-ily constructed buildings, with rent that's only $75 less than a newer apartment down the street. The reason we have not moved is because we are savings for a house and do not want to move into another apartment then move into a house....moving twice within a short time period sucks! The floors in these apartments SUCK - they slope and creak so bad! Unless you're on the ground floor of course, but then you have to worry about flooding, the resident scorpions, and creepy crawlies (if you live back towards the field anyway, I don't know about the rest of the complex). And your utility bill will skyrocket if you don't pay attention to it because the insulation is missing, and there are cracks and openings around every door and window, letting your heat and a/c out. My husband and I live in a 'noise sandwich', which is slowly turning into a 'noise taco' , aka the middle floor in a 3 story building. The water in our kitchen smells like fish...it makes everything in our dishwasher smell like fish. You can't wash your dishes by hand to avoid that b/c you're still using the same fish water. We bought a water filter, to insure we were drinking safe water, and that even smells like fish b/c the cooling unit in our fridge makes everything smell like fish. Yuck. I'm thankful that we have a laundry hook up in our apartment, it saves trips to the laundry mat - that earns one star. The other star is for the water being pro-rated to the building, so it doesn't turn out that bad. The rest of the stars are missing because my husband's truck has been vandilized 5 times over the course of our time there. It has been shot with a BB gun twice (had to replace the windshield), spray painted with a racist sign, egged, and paintballed. We alerted the office about every incident, and one of the maintenance guys asked my husband what he did to have his truck spray painted with a racist sign. We don't talk to anyone, we didn't do anything! He was accusing my husband of a racist crime or something. Not cool. I've seen drug deals happen in the field in the back of the complex. Lots of hobos for neighbors - they've set up a makeshift city on the other side of the fence so you see them walking around every once in awhile. There are police helicopters monitoring the area about once a week....really loud, with searchlights. Also, about a year and a half ago, during one of the tornado storms, part of our outer wall was blown off. Part of it was shotty construction, and the building being over 25 years old, and part of it was the storm. Stuff happens - my note about this is that it took the apartment complex over 3 months to repair it. Meanwhile our upstairs neighbor's ceiling was exposed to all kinds of rain, and there was nothing between us and the elements except for a thin piece of sheetrock. I could hear the wind and rain beating on the wall while I slept, like worse than normal. Not a good 3 months - it rained a LOT, which is part of the reason the repair took so long. We knew our wall had to be molding and turning to mush. In the complex's defense they did put up a piece of plastic over the damage, but the wind blew it off and made this horrible flapping noise all day and night. The complex came out to repair it one time, and that helped a little. Speaking of mold, did you know that mold could be repaired with paint? Neither did I! According to this complex's maintenance staff, painting over mold repairs it. We have mold in our 2nd bedroom closet from our upstairs neighbor's a/c leaking through their floor - I say 'have' instead of 'had' because it's starting to come through the paint. Repaired...right. WARNING*** DO NOT MOVE HERE I was a resident of Windsail Apartments for 2 years. Worst 2 years of my life! I lived on the 3rd floor of the three story building. I own a large dog. Bitchy neighbors would call me in to the office and the next morning I would receive a Noise complaint on my door. It's a dog. It's not my fault she walks on those creaky, uneven floors. Also, maintenance is a joke. During one summer, the AC in my unit went out. The repairman came up, flipped a switch on the breaker box, and left me a note saying it was fixed. It was; however, NOT fixed. I had to make another service call. The second time, the repairman said the breaker box had a fuse missing. So he replaced the fuse. The AC in the unit kicked on but would not blow cold air. What a summer... When I moved out, I was financially penalized because there was a spot in the carpet that was worn down. BUT, that's because they did "mandatory" renovations in the kitchens and bathrooms of the units and whilst moving the furniture and appliances out of the kitchen, it snagged the carpet and tore a hole. I told the office about this incident and they still charged me to replace the carpet. Office hours suck! When you work a typical 9-5 job, there's never any time to address issues because those are the office hours. During my time at Windsail, someone so kindly went through the back parking lot (near the field) and slashed 27 people's tires...including mine. When addressing the office about their "security staff" and why no one was patrolling when this happened, I was advised to file a police report online and the complex was not responsible for damage to my or anyone else's vehicle. RIDICULOUS! And that was not the only crime committed at this complex. In 2016, a resident in the building directly parallel to mine was shot and killed in a drug deal that went way wrong. No word from the office to the tenants about this matter. They simply swept it under the rug like it never happened. Then I got a notice on my door that I needed to "clean up after my pet" because the other tenants had complained about dog shit in the dog park. ... neat. I could go on and on about how shitty these apartments are. They try to be sticklers about the "policies" they have in place, but fail to provide their tenants with the safety and security they promise in their lease agreement. Please please PLEASE do not move here. If you currently live here, MOVE! read more

Don't waste your time with this place or Case managed properties for that matter. I have a house in another state. I moved here as it was inexpensive. I've rented from Case for 20 years and this property for 10. They now are increasing rent by a ridiculous amount and its not worth it. The apartments are old and it's obvious. I have a crack in my ceiling that was filled with caulk when before I moved in. It looks like crap. I didn't worry about it before, but now that they are asking for premium rent, I may have them fix it properly before I move. They give less than 24 hours notice to enter apartments and always seem to do it when I'm working nights and sleeping during the day. Case seems to think this is still an 8-5 world. There are vehicles in the parking lot that don't move for months (one for at least 9 months) and they don't bother to find out if they are abandoned. They make threats against residents who have pets for defecating outside proscribed areas, but you still can't walk thru the grass at night. They just make the threats and expect residents to turn in others. It's seems the laundry rooms are cleaned once a month. Also, the water is constantly turned off to fix broken pipes. This was was once a reasonably inexpensive place to live, tolerating some BS, but no more. They don't care if you pay rent on time, they'll still screw you next time your lease is due. Considering there is likely a lot of nonpaying residents due to Covid, you would think management would have a little sense and try to keep paying customers, but clearly they're stupid. read more
