What a tremendous experience. This has given him an opportunity to be around like-minded kids and not only have an educational experience, but a social one as well. As much as he enjoys hanging out with the other campers, he's a huge fan of the instructors too and truly looks up to them. Based on his comments and what I've seen when dropping him off and picking him up, the instructors relate well to the campers. That's a huge plus. As a parent, my expectations for what he gets out of the camp are realistic and have been met every year. I don't expect my son to walk out of there an expert in whatever course he took that week. As long as he had fun, was challenged and inspired, and made some friends if even for a week, it was a worthwhile experience. He's already looking forward to doing it again this year.

Went to admin multiple times over issues, and never got anywhere. These are the people we are supposed to trust to mend, teach & help our children grow, not put them in unsafe environments. The coaches are professional and knowledgeable and make learning come to life on soccer island. As a family we have seen the program grow over the years and continue to bring soccer learning to life along with character education in every soccer shots class for all students ages 2 - 8 across this Central NJ region. It's the people who are doing this, Doug and his team. They are the reason LakeView Day Camp has been a huge success since Doug took over. They really try hard to accommodate any issues and things do happen so tell them if there is an issue so they can help. They have corrected bus issues or stepped in to address other minor problems over the years and always left us feeling like they really care about their campers. Doug, the owner is very visible and works hard to leave campers with a positive experience whether they are 5 or 15 years old. They have a beautiful camp with a lovely lake, a hot lunch and healthy snacks like fruit. They just put in a huge new pool 2 years ago. They have a nice teen program as well.

Big rink for indoor ice skating -- came here a couple times with a friend for regular skating. When…read morethe ice is smooth, it is so fun to go around, and you are never in any danger of bumping into anyone, because it doesn't get packed like the outdoor rink at Roosevelt Park or any touristy rink in NY. However, sometimes you get those hockey kids, and they purposely skate fast and weave in and out of wobbly people, so that can get a little nerve wracking. It's also rude and inconsiderate but considering those guys are teens, it's kind of forgivable, I suppose. Have a decent seating area upstairs that always looks clean, well maintained, with plenty of tables and chairs where they sell food. You can also look out and watch people skating. I've watched some figure skaters practicing and it's a lot of fun! Nice people at the front desk, very helpful with questions. Big lot, plenty of parking.
