Today, we took him to TLE for the last time ever. He was only there for half a day, however he came back with a bruise on his neck, a large bruise on his forehead and small red dots on his face from crying so hard (something he has never experienced before no matter how hard he cries) My wife picked him up and no one was able to explain to her what happened to him. I then went back with him to find out what happened and I was told he probably banged his head on the door. Later I received a phone call from his teacher explaining that he fell from a chair and hit his head and she had to put ice on it. No incident report was filed, no phone call was made to us (even though we called during the day, clearly concerned about him and were told he's doing wonderful). I feel so guilty for taking my son there and wish I had trusted the feedback I thought I was receiving from him. I know kids will always get hurt. However my reason for never going back is how little they appeared to care. I can't trust them to do enough to prevent injuries and I can't trust them to respond appropriately once an injury has occurred

They are happy, thriving, learning, and enjoying every moment of their time here. Whenever we have had a concern or an issue to address, we have always felt heard and supported. The school has been incredibly responsive, and action has been taken immediately whenever needed. Our children have also participated in the Spanish Immersion program, and we have been amazed by how well they are learning and speaking the language. We are especially impressed by how much they have learned at such a young age--even being able to write their names and many different words in Spanish. The teachers are absolutely wonderful: caring, kind, professional, and incredibly attentive to the children's individual needs, behaviors, and development. Their dedication and genuine love for what they do are evident every day. I would also like to highlight the school's leadership. The administration is always willing to listen, support us, and help with anything we may need. We truly feel that our children are in a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. Honestly, everything about the Guidepost Montessori Somerset has been extraordinary. We are incredibly thankful for the teachers, staff, and leadership and for everything they do for our children and our family. We wholeheartedly recommend this school--one thousand times over! We couldn't be happier with our experience.

Our one-year-old daughter just started this month, and the staff have been incredibly sweet and attentive with her. From day one, I received plenty of photos and updates showing exactly what she was doing throughout the day. That level of communication made me feel so much more at ease, especially as a parent leaving a little one in someone else's care for the first time. In just a short time, she's already learning to spoon-feed herself and is showing so much more independence while exploring and walking around with confidence. Our four-year-old son has been attending for a couple of months now. He had been struggling with some behavioral challenges at his previous daycare, but since switching to Guidepost, we haven't had a single issue. The difference is night and day. The teachers here are clearly well-trained and experienced. They have a calm, confident presence and complete control of the classroom (which is no easy feat with a group of four-year-olds!). They keep the children engaged while also teaching valuable social skills, like how to play cooperatively, share, and respect personal space. In addition, our son has multiple food allergies and sensitivities, and the team at Guidepost has been exceptionally supportive and accommodating. They've gone out of their way to not only make sure his dietary needs are met, but to support me as a parent during what has been a tough transition to a new diet. More than anything, what sets this school apart is how much they genuinely care (not just about the kids, but about the entire family). I wholeheartedly recommend Guidepost Montessori!

As a Behavioral Therapist I work with my clients 1:1 but I also get to be around all the other…read morechildren and see how they are developing and learning. TLE - North Brunswick is great! I have seen so much progress with the children there. My client is 2.5 yrs old, so I am around 2-3 yr old children. I see them learning Spanish, the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, days of the week, months of the year, and SO MUCH more. At other places I have seen 5 yr old children not being able to identify numbers and letters meanwhile at TLE the know it not only in English but Spanish as well! The teachers there care about all of the kids in their classroom. They are patient, they make sure each child is actually learning and they celebrate all of their small achievements which is so important to developing children. At TLE they have always provided the accommodations needed for me and my client's needs. They treat every child there with love and respect, including the special needs children. In the past I have experienced issues at other daycares where my other client was not wanted in group activities and was not treated the same as the other kids. But that is NOT the case at the TLE-NB. The Learning Experience - North Brunswick is truly a great place for children to learn!

When I first enrolled my girls here they were young. My oldest started at 17 months & my 2nd around…read more18 months. Everything started well, & I mean my oldest graduated from here. But during the time she was at TLE (her final year) my older daughter came to me expressing one of the staff members here grabbed & squeezed her arm. I immediately told staff up front, Leah & Sheetal, whom said they would follow the protocol to investigate the allegation. They then claimed they contacted the state. They said no other children (they interviewed 3 kids, all boys - but all the victims we know for sure by their mothers, were girls) & they all said they were never squeezed. One child interviewed is also the GRANDCHILD to the owner of this TLE. So they kind of brushed it under as if my child was making it up & then I thought maybe it's possible my daughter was confused - months later we attended a gathering with other children who graduated with my eldest. During that get together another mom (whose daughter graduated with my daughter) asked how TLE was "going?" I explained what happened & the mother informed me the same teacher did something similar to her child & they asked her if she wanted them to contact the state (the mother declined thinking that again, maybe the child got confused). Short while after, my oldest was there & she witnessed this same teacher grab another little girls arm. This time I called CPS, who informed me they don't come out to investigate I needed to make a police report, but since my daughter was not the victim it's really up to that mother. Ok? I went back to TLE with the complaints letting them know this is the 3rd time, I myself am aware that this teacher has grabbed 3 girls by their arms. I told Leah (the director) how the CPS worker explained I needed to make a police report first. I got so upset because when it happened to my child, no one said to call the police & TLE did NOT. Hours later, after me yelling in the lobby how this teacher still works around children & she needs to be let go, Leah called me telling me that my younger daughter could NOT RETURN until after the police investigate - I asked Leah what investigation? The police aren't contacted since it was not my child THIS TIME. I told her to email me & put it in writing that my youngest daughter would not be allowed back there & she REFUSED to do so. I pulled my youngest daughter out that same day, informed them they allowed a teacher to grab girls & squeeze their arms & they did nothing about it. If they weren't going to investigate I should've called the police when my daughter reported it but they tried to cover it up. The other mother made the complaint before I did, so when they said no other parent came to them about this teacher before, they lied, & by they - I mean Leah & Sheetal. They were willing to let this teacher work around children. I went to North Brunswick Police department & they were confused because they never had the report from TLE for my child & when I came to them (since Leah mentioned I needed to wait to return my child from this "investigation") there was no investigation because by then many months already passed, almost a full year. The police took my statement & by then I ended my contact with them. They lie to pretend they will protect your children & they don't, the cameras do not record & they should really be shut down if they're willing to hide abuse. Also upon reviewing these other reviews one of them is from a staff member so I am sure the other reviews are from family and or staff. Be aware - Ann Conti is from Ms Annie who works in the preschool classroom - came back to add for the response here that I received from TLE ; there is no reason to reach out to your company because you are already aware of how you handled this situation. You did not allow my daughter to return because I advised the North Brunswick Police Department of the abuse you were hiding from this said teacher (who I know now has been terminated and not allowed to work with children any more) but for your response to this review is truly disgusting and unacceptable as if it was not addressed in your lobby. Not only that I came back to my review because the other parent whose daughter this happened to brought to my attention that ANOTHER staff member is writing reviews! Do NOT believe the reviews here because they are staff members trying to save their job location from being shut down. Also Leah the director is supposedly leaving the location - she probably doesn't want to show face to new prospective parents with the embarrassment of not protecting my children.
