Perfect spot if you're craving good pizza and wings. Tried it from recommendations from a Facebook group looking for good classic wings so got their pizza & wing combo for around $21 bucks. I went to meet my friends here because they go here all the time and said how great the pizza and food was. My gosh they were so right amazing. We put together a pizza and it was delicious. Service was excellent, she was quick to get my drink order and out and they were busy. We could sit and talk with no problem of noise even when they were busy. I can only attest to the delivered pizza, but it was honestly so bad that we ended up just throwing it away which would warrant a 1 star because we couldn't choke it down. It pains me to say this because I want all local businesses to succeed. The crust was soggy, topping were bland (no idea how considering all of the toppings we ordered!) and the sauce tasted off. In addition to that the delivery was not speedy so it was not even close to hot. A hidden spot at Windsor and Elm. Pros: -Large enough menu, full bar, decent service. I'm not much for pizza, so I go for burgers and tots. Like the bread sticks too. -Quiet. For being more of a bar, this place is real cozy, and you can have some decent conversation with anyone tagging along with you. Dining area is well kept. -Slots if you're into that sort of thing. Cons: -Food is good enough but won't knock your socks off. -Restrooms here kind of suck. Bottom line: -This is more of a place I go to for atmosphere rather than the food. Worst excuse of a pizza place. Did an online order through THEIR website and when calling and asking what they can do about this they told me what do you want me to do? Then preceded to tell me that neither location could confirm that I even put in the order. It looks like a piece is missing whether it fell out or was eaten who knows but the lady argued with me and said yeah that would not happen. Was my favorite place to eat but never again. Was in the mood for some pizza but from somewhere we have never tried. I found this place in the many options in the stateline area and decided to give it a try. Drove down from Beloit so I ordered just before I left and it was ready when I arrived. Looked delicious and smelled delicious. Got home and I am very mixed on it. Overall it was good, no complaints. The one thing I liked was the cornmeal crust but it just was missing the crunch. It had the support of a good thin crust just no crunch. Toppings and cheese we're good, chicken sandwich was decent. Did not care much for the wings as they were very dry and overcooked. May order again in the future but it's hard to justify for me since we live 30 minutes away. The pizza was great as usual but I can't rate it 5 stars. Went there last night and wanted to eat outside but storm was coming. Went against my feelings and went inside. They put up foam boards between each booth which was good. My complaint is none of the workers were wearing masks. And the waitress kept coming up and hanging over our table talking and laughing. I was very upset, and mad at myself to not tell her to back off 6 feet or go put a mask on. Because of this I will not go back. Sad because I love their upside down pizza. read more

I decided to order a pizza for carry out after I had heard it was open, new to the area. I was excited to try it and had a busy evening and did not want to cook. I ordered on my way home as I had about a 20 minute drive and had no idea what was on the menu, so the person answering the phone was helpful in navigating me through the menu. I ordered a 14 inch pizza called The Windsor Supreme. Sausage, pepperoni, onion, olive and green pepper and mushroom. I had to wait a few minutes as they had told me it would be 35 minutes, so the waitress offered my a glass of water, and I waited at the bar. It came out piping hot, steam emerging through the ends of the box. It smelled amazing. Could not wait to get home. As I opened the box I noticed right away that the cheese was more well done than I like it, but it was very good none the less. The sauce was a little on the thin side, but that could be because the veggies watered it down, but it had great flavor! The sausage was good, the crust was the "traditional" thin, and it was good as well, although it's edge was kind of a thick twisted rope, thicker than I care for, but in all it was a great pizza! They have all kinds of toppings and choices, as well as burgers, chicken wings, appetizers. The owner, Steve, came out of the kitchen and greeted me, which I thought was very nice. read more

I was at the restaurant last night and I witnessed a family there who had apparently been waiting for their food for an hour and 20 minutes. We came after them. We got our food first. The lady asked about an appetizer and mentioned her kid was hungry. The waitress despicably responded as to why the appetizer hadn't been served by clapping her hands to each word saying; take- him- to-McDonald's!! She even gave directions!! No apology or " we are really short staffed", nothing but a sarcastic response. Who does that? Then a man, presumably the manager and/or owner, came out of the kitchen to address the patrons. Something about another hour and a half for the pizza? All I heard after that was " refund this table and get them out of here". I was stunned, considering it's a small business, the covid world we're living in, and to do and say those things Infront of us and the others in the small establishment. Ordered an Edgeless pizza. Pizza had Edges.....we called just to make them aware and to make sure to get orders correct. We didn't want a new one or a credit. They did give us a $5 credit. The following weekend we tried it again. The crust was correct but I think they gave us all the sauce in the restaurant. Ewww. This place is new to the area and has great prices and their pizzas are loaded with the toppings unlike the pizzas you get with just some toppings. Their sandwiches are huge and the prices are low. Pint of beer for just $2.25. I'd advise at least trying them as I think they are awesome myself. This place has top notch service, the food is homemade and awesome! Beer is always a cold 32 degrees. My kids love it my husband and I love it! Food is fresh, hot and exactly as ordered. Love the music playing and the TVs with all the sports on. We will keep coming back to support local!! read more
