This place is not good for foreign travelers/tourists. One, most of them does not speak English, second, tv cable does not have English channels, third, housekeeping sometimes just knocks on your door and then open it even when you're sleeping and they already cleaned the room for the day so not sure why they're disturbing the crap out of me. One time i borrowed an iron and ironing board, nobody told me that it can only be borrowed for an hour because they cannot speak English or they just refuse, so after ironing my clothes i kept the both of them inside the cabinet and then i was awaken by knocks on my door and since i'm still tired from my long flight i don't have the energy to stand up and i just waited for them to come in the room, they dis opened the door but i think they thought i was away, finally the front desk informed me about the 1 hour allotted time for borrowing it.
Room-wise, i paid for a business executive suite but it looked like a standard room with a shower and a queen bed, Orbitz (travel agency) informed me that it's a king sized bed. Comparing it back home a business executive suite can be a California King bed, huge room space with balcony and a jacuzzi...and maybe a living room, it's not worth the time and extra money to change into a room with a standard tub.
Brazil is a good place but next time i visit i will go to a different hotel. Customer service needs improvement, amenities and room description needs huge improvements, language needs more attention (c'mon! they're located in Copacabana which is a tourist spot so learn the int'l language!) read more
