The board was severely damaged during shipping. They seem to have had no insurance with UPS and asked me to pay for return shipping (~$300). I eventually found a repair shop locally. Good Breeze did pay for repair but then backed away from their offer to send a helmet and leash as I now owned a refurbished product. They wasted so much of my time with their complete obliviousness to the notion of customer service. Definitely stay away, unless you are absolutely sure that your transaction will not encounter any hiccups

I had an efoil lesson (not my first) and the instruction was good, however, before going out on the…read morewater, instructor informed me, at halfway through we would switch from the one with the inflatable around it to the other model, which was without. The switch never occurred, and that was never explained to me. However, the instructor explained that he was impressed with my progress, and that I was really learning how to foil and not just riding back-and-forth compared to most. I went to the shop in person, spoke with the owner who was dismissive and didn't want to call the instructor to find out the story in front of me and did not wanna call me back once he had the conversation to let me know the result or what he could do about the problem. He asked me what I would like to do, and I said I want to ride the other board. He stated the instructor probably would not want to go out again, and offered no other solution He was not professional and asked me to leave and was very disconnected with my concern. For this experience, I could not possibly recommend this outfit which is too bad because the instructor did a good job with exception of not doing what he said he was going to do. It is worth noting that other shops in other locations charge less than half of what this shop charges for the same or more instruction. This is not an inexpensive lesson and therefore should be held to a higher standard.! Note that my rating is because of the promise given and not performed in the completely unprofessional disconnected response from the owner at the retail location. Apart from that, I would have given the instructor, a four out of five.

We had an amazing experience with Ron Jon Surf School! We just moved to the area and thought, "when…read morein Rome..."--so we signed our two teens up for lessons, and it was the best decision. Their instructor, Christian, was absolutely fantastic. He was patient, encouraging, and really knew how to connect with them. They both started as complete beginners, and by the end of the lesson they had not only gotten up on the board but also left with real confidence and a solid understanding of the basics. Most importantly--they had a blast. They're already talking about getting back out there and taking the next steps! Highly recommend for anyone with kids (or adults!) wanting to learn to surf in a fun, supportive environment.
