We had such an amazing time during their event last weekend! Everything was free except for the food from the food truck and the ice cream. But my kiddo won prizes after spinning a wheel, played in the bounce house and even rode a horse!! All of that for free?!? There was also a pumpkin patch, playground and obstacle course. I sure hope they do something like this again! read more

Our goal is to provide a safe, happy and educational experience for all that want to experience a scaled-down version of farm life close to home. We operate under the Agritourism side of farming by providing experiences, education and production in agriculture products such as tomatoes and specialty peppers, livestock maintenance, fiber products (Alpaca Textiles), soil amendments and farm automation. We do not provide large scale production of any one item or product but instead offer a hands-on educational experience across a multitude of farm-related processes and fun activities to teach the value of farming.

History

Established in 2016.

We are located in beautiful Bath Township, Ohio Just in between Fairborn and Yellow Springs. We are blessed with wonderful neighbors, community and local government that supports our endeavors to provide a opportunity to experience something that most do not get the chance too. We have gentle livestock that is easy on the environment. We are family run and operated.

I've taken various friends with me over the years. With COVID this year, you weren't allowed to bring your own bucket, but this was ok because I usually buy their boxes anyway. I like that I can use them and recycle them. Earlier this week, I spent about 2 hours picking strawberries and walked out with about 17 pounds. I was able to make jam & jelly, as well as save some berries to go with strawberry shortcake. The prices are reasonable at $2.95/pound for pick your own and $5.75/container of pre-picked berries.

Visited Stokes Berry Farm for my first strawberry picking experience. It was about the third week…read moreof the season and there were still many ripe berries available. Today's strawberries were on the smaller side but still sweet. Gathered up over four pounds of berries to make fun concoctions, mostly jelly. Since this wasn't the start of picking season it took about five mins for me to really find some that were worth pulling. In my experience, many were along the irrigation pipes, and the larger ones were covered (shades) with thick green leaves. Tip: Contact or follow the farms social media for key picking times and confirm picking is available before you make the hike to the area.

We assume she may be new, as her…read moremanager stood behind her throughout the interaction, repeatedly reminding her not to forget certain tasks--even though Grace had already completed them. We felt for her, as she handled the situation professionally and provided excellent service despite the constant oversight. We wish her all the best. Later, when we went to get ice cream, Emily was just as friendly and helpful as Grace. Unfortunately, our ice cream was already melting and dripping down the cones when we received it. A kind employee offered to have them remade, and we gladly accepted. However, the replacement order was made incorrectly, and at that point we decided to simply eat what we were given. While both Grace and Emily provided outstanding customer service, the issues with the ice cream unfortunately put a damper on the end of our visit. As visitors from Oregon, we were excited to compare the experience to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. The visit started off wonderfully thanks to your staff, but the ending left us disappointed. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but in our opinion, Tillamook still holds the edge.
