Okay, first of all, I just have to admit that I'm not much of a wine person. (Heck, I'm not much of an alcohol person at all, if we're being honest here.) Which is why you should pay attention to the fact that I'm reviewing a winery. Annnd I should also mention that I haven't actually stepped foot inside the Wine of the Glen building. So why the review? Because they distribute their wine in other places in the Ireland and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to tell people about it! I had a glass of the Strawberry Blush (rose wine) at Stonecutters Kitchen in Clare and my heart stopped. It was gentle, and light and delicious. I wish I had purchased a bottle or four. (This coming from a non-drinker!) So if you're visiting Ireland or will be in the near future (or heck, maybe you live there?) and you want to taste some local wine- head over to the Wine of the Glen website and check their distributors list.
